| Resumo: | The article analyzes the Bolsa Família Transfer Program - PBF as a strategy for combating poverty and its weaknesses in a peripheral country and marked by great social inequalities, as is the case of Brazil. Discusses the intrinsic relationship between social protection, social policies, poverty, education, social rights and citizenship. Shows the Brazilian experience of the Bolsa Família Program, presenting the possibilities and limits as to overshoot and the alleviation of poverty through an extensive bibliographic research of national and foreign doctrine with the aim of knowing the works elaborated on the theme, as well as its current stage of study |
