Abstract

Abortion is a controversial issue in society, there is still a lot of prejudice, discrimination and controversial feelings on the subject, however, women's health, under any circumstances, is a right of citizenship and is the duty of every health professional. health care offer and ensure individualized and humanized care. Objective: To analyze the socio-cultural and emotional aspects in nursing care for aborted women. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review conducted through the Virtual Health Library (VHL) database, Scientific Library Online (Scielo). Results: The research was formed by a sample of articles, being published from 2009 to 2018, all addressing in its context aspects related to the impact of abortion and the cultural and emotional aspects in nursing care. Final considerations: Nursing care in abortion situations is characterized by conduct that ranges from understanding and welcoming to the absence of a welcoming listening, the presence of a prejudiced and condemnatory posture that ignores the feelings and perspectives of those who experience an experience. marked by trauma and suffering.
