Abstract

Child labor has existed since antiquity, being seen only as a serious social problem, only from modern times and currently represents one of the main challenges for contemporary societies. This article aims to examine a new perspective on child labor, so that today it has been happening through social networks, as a clear demonstration of the digital reality to which society has been inserted. Therefore, the reflections start from the understanding of what child labor would be and how the doctrine of integral protection and the legislation regarding the protection of children and adolescents in relation to the right to professionalization have been implemented. Thus, the possible solution to this social reality would be the creation of a law that guarantees infants the right to professionalization through requirements that respect their condition of development and enable them to safely enter the digital labor market.
