Resumo: | The purpose of this study reviewing the literature, is to explore and present the role and importance of domestic labor in boys' upbringing. Family, most of the time has been considered the central piece in children's education. Domestic labor or chores are considered a great learning tool for parents. In a society, labor activity not only changes our surroundings but most importantly ourselves. Hence for children learning from home by doing domestic chores, under their parent scrutiny help them build skills that will turn helpful later in their lives. This study will be using historical critical methods from Savani and the subsidiarity principles, to display anthropological, philosophical benefits of child domestic labor in the family. The latest was considered by Donati and Bronfenbrenner with the constructive theory of Piaget and Vygotsky. Child Domestic labor turns out to be beneficial in the long term for children due to acquired social, technical, emotional skills and contribution to the communities. We believe chores in the family shouldn’t be forbidden; however they should only be performed in respect to law and regulations. |
