O uso do metaverso no processo de ensino e aprendizagem

Abstract

The use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDIC) still constitutes one of the great challenges for educational activities in Brazil, mainly due to the lack of equity and digital inclusion among students from public and private schools. The object of study were educational digital technologies, especially the contributions of the metaverse, in the teaching and learning process. The main objective of this article is to provide a reflection on the contributions of the use of digital technologies - the metaverse - in the teaching and learning process. The theories that support this work are in the studies referring to the concepts of TDIC and metaverse, and methodologically the qualitative approach, bibliographical research, being analyzed the educational contributions, their challenges and use with the students. From the perceived results, we found the use of digital resources in a classroom, especially the metaverse, involving the development of autonomy, critical thinking and creativity of students, promoting meaningful learning.
