Abstract

The women detention is not a well discussed theme, that’s why the present work aims to analyze the women conditions, emphasizing the women in pregnancy situation in the baiano penitentiary system. Everything will be analyzed by bibliography researches and field research. In this article will be also examined the profile of the penitentiary that protects the prisoners, as well as the treatment given by the jailers and others interns towards to the pregnant woman. In the same way that will be study the hygienic conditions offered to the prisoners before and after the birth. As the healthy condition (mental and physically) of the prisoner pregnant woman. Another very important point in this work is the difference between men and women in jail, because in practice they receive the same treatment the state give it. Occurs that this one ignores the fact that the prisoners should be treated unequally in the measure of their inequalities, once the women have different needs than the men. In the same way, aims to understand how is realized the remission system, with the job and the study, and who are the beneficiaries. At least, the present article aims to analyze how is realized the resocialization of this woman, in a pregnant condition.
