A importância da paternidade na adolescência

Abstract

It is necessary to have this discussion, because the importance of the adolescent father to the society so that it has more clarification on the subject addressed and before the same one can have more participation of the adolescent father in this phase and so that the young people can understand the changes that occur in the occurrence of a pregnancy and the responsibilities they must assume. Objective: To describe paternity and participation of the adolescent father during the gestational period and the birth of the child. Methodology: This is an integrative review of literature with publications in the period 2008-2017, available in the VHL (Virtual Health Library) database. Results: In the present integrative review, 18 potential references were found, of which only 13 comprised the criteria pre - established by the study. Conclusion: It is concluded that paternity in adolescence has its positives and negatives. And it is important for the adolescent father to be present in the life of the child, but also having the support of family, friends and health services to experience parenting in a healthier way.
