Assistência prestada pelo enfermeiro nos cuidados às puérperas

Abstract

The puerperium is the period of the cycle pregnant-puerperal in that so much the modifications local as systemic happened in the period of the pregnancy and childbirth, they return to the situation of the state pré-gravídico, the period puerperal demands an attention of the nurse (the) for the reception, orientations and doubts, guaranteeing an attendance to the service of health where it is done necessary to understand and to know how it happens the (the) nurse’s (the) performance in the cares to the puérperas. Objective: To identify how the nurses render the attendance to the puerperas. Methodology: It is a study of revision literature integrative. They were found a total of 215 articles, pre-selected 31 articles for a detailed reading of the titles and summaries of the publications and after reading 24 articles were excluded since they contemplate not the inclusion criteria and the theme of the study remaining seven articles. They were also included in the work seven articles with searches starting from the following words and combinations: Puerpério consults puerperal and maternal deaths in the puerpério. This way 14 articles were totaled for analysis. Results: The studies showed that in relation to quality of attendance rendered by the nurse in the studied articles 85,7% demonstrated dissatisfaction with the rendered attendance, tends as first indicator the focus of the attendance to be gone back to the newly born, following by ineffective communication between the professionals and the women. Final considerations: The study revealed that there is a lack of information regarding the care that should be done, the importance of puerperal consultation and, especially, care related to the puérpera, since in the study it is verified that the care is mainly directed to the newborn.
