Processos de constituição de vínculos familiares em pessoas adultas que vivenciaram a situação de rua, membros da Comunidade da Trindade

Abstract

The family constitutes an important space of human formation, whose experience of the bonds is constituted in resource and fundamental support to face the existential adversities. This research aims to understand how the process of establishing family bonds occurs in adults who lived in the streets, members of the Trindade community. As methodological procedures we adopted the participant observation and the interview of the type of life history. Participant observation made it possible to know the geographic locus where we conducted the investigation - the community of Trindade -, its dynamics and establish bonds of trust with the people who live in it. It was also possible to identify the individuals that were selected from the study, who were intentionally selected based on the following criteria: having experienced life in the streets and being actively involved in the community, in which the dynamics of family life are expressed. The interview of the type of life history, allowed us to collect the life stories of the individuals. We analyzed the data collected from three interviews, using the phenomenological method, expressing the individual's experience and his own way of elaborating the processes of family bonds, in the family of origin, in the context of living on the streets, in the community of Trindade. Based on the analysis of life stories, it was possible to understand that the process of establishing family bonds in adults who experienced life in the streets, members of the community of Trindade, recognize that family bonds are in relationships with significant people, in which there is an update on the characteristics of the family, the individual realizes that something happens to itself, apprehends in that relationship correspondences to what it wants, so stays in that relationship, it gets personally involved, it experiences fulfillment. Based on the data collected, we were still able to achieve the following results: to identify the significant work of memory in the elaboration of the individuals' experience, religious experience as a force for constitution of the individual, reception as a constitutive force to be itself, shaping of the individual and the community in welcoming the event, life in the streets as a process, the community coexistence as a family force.
