Item Estação São Francisco: reconstruindo e valorizando a memória urbana de Alagoinhas/Ba(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2020-12-16) Sales, Ithana Santana; Reis, Márcia Silva dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Carvalho, Luís Cláudio Brito Pina de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Martins, Técio Luiz Silva Martins; http://lattes.cnpq.br/The present dissertation denominate: San Francisco Station: reconstructing and valuing the urban memory of Alagoinhas, approaches the station as a historical mark for the development of the city in the 19th century and the requalification of its original structure and surroundings with the objective of creating a space that serves a diverse audience for socio-educational activities. The buildings that compose the San Francisco Station are denominated a passenger station that is in disuse and abandoned and a merchandise station that is being used but without the correct maintenance, so the structure is deteriorating over the years. So in this context, with the abandonment of part of the building and consequent deterioration, the proposal for this area involves the requalification of the structure seeking to intervene in the old buildings, relating to the surroundings and the new structure, showing the historical and cultural importance of the São Francisco Station for the city and the preservation of the urban memory that exists, with the ultimate goal of relating two distinct centuries in a modern and living structure so that the entire population can frequent the place.Item Solar Boa Vista o lugar e a memória(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2020-12-14) Santos, Jade Maria Antunes Fonseca; Araújo, Cristina Filgueiras de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Reis, Márcia Silva dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Vital, Milena Andrade; http://lattes.cnpq.br/This academic work has as main objective to present how memory and landscape are related in cities and how it is possible to evoke the feeling of identity for the recovery of degraded public spaces. The Solar Boa Vista Park, an important space in the city of Salvador, breathes the history and culture of the Boa Vista de Brotas neighborhood, but has suffered from abandonment in recent years. It was found that providing attractions is important, but when people do not appropriate spaces, they lose their strength in the urban environment. This relationship of appropriation is linked to the feeling of belonging, since when the individual starts to relate his story to the space in which he is inserted, to the context of the place, there is an identification and a need to become a participative and active agent , and no longer passive. The public space belongs to everyone, without exception, and its symbols and elements, when preserved, preserve the identity of a place and its transmission to future generations.
