In view of the different technologies used for therapeutic treatment in the management of patients with chronic wounds, the care of nurses faces issues such as knowledge, hegemony of medical work, still present in the hospital environment, and the autonomy of this professional in the choice of the treatment for each wound. OBJECTIVE: Identify the performance of the nurse in the treatment of the individual with chronic wound, and the factors that influence the practice of this professional in the hospital scope. METHODOLOGY: This article is an integrative review of the literature, exploratory and qualitative approach, using the descriptors: nursing care, professional autonomy, injuries and injuries and nursing, available in Portuguese and published in the years 2008 to 2018. RESULTS: The nurse needs a theoretical knowledge based on evidence for a quality practice, the same is influenced by external factors, such as the interference of others in their decisions and the dependence of others to perform some activity, which makes it difficult for them to act with autonomy. Despite the existence of public policies planned by the health services, the tools used to make communication feasible are usually parts of individual professionals' initiatives. What continues being a barrier for deaf people. Objective: aims to identify the challenges faced by people who suffer from depression when they seek care in health services and analyze the reasons that lead them. Methodology: This is an integrative review of the literature. 326 publications were located, the titles and abstracts were read with the purpose of refining. We excluded 276 articles because they did not meet the criteria for inclusion or because they were duplicated. A total of 22 papers were read. After exhaustive reading, the final sample consisted of 8 articles. . Results: From the evaluation of these studies the two categories emerged: Communication barrier versus Accessibility and Indicators for improvement in the access of the deaf in the health services. Final considerations: It was possible to perceive that care for the deaf in public health is in the process of being built and still presents serious deficiencies. Objective: To analyze the challenges faced by nurses in conflict management at the hospital work process. Method: a qualitative descriptive exploratory research using a semi-structured interview as the data collection instrument with 14 nurses who held the management position of a philanthropic hospital in Salvador-BA. For data interpretation we used the content analysis technique and consequently the findings were structured by categories. Results: from the content analysis were constituted two categories. “Nurse managers work process: what is the understanding of this practice” and “the understanding of nurse managers about conflicts: difficulties, challenges and possibilities”. The research results indicate that the main challenges faced are: to conduct the main conflicts mentioned (including the personnel sizing), staff distribution scale, work overload and communication failure. This virus is endemic in several regions of the world. In Brazil, it is present in all states, with varying prevalences, estimated around 2.5 million infected. Genetic and immunological factors of the host are mainly responsible for the associated clinical manifestations. HTLV-associated myelopathy (HAM / TSP) and adult T-cell leukemia / lymphoma (ATLL) are the first diseases associated with this retrovirus. Subsequently, numerous other diseases have been correlated with this virus. Objective: To describe HTLV-1 and its symptomatology. Methodology: Research of character of integrative review of literature, through articles collected in the Scielo database. Results: Studies have shown that HTLV infection occurs for years, but its pathogenesis is recent. And its associated clinical manifestations can be divided into three categories: neoplastic, inflammatory and infectious. Bariatric surgery (BS) is indicated as a last resort treatment and for patients with BMI ≥ 40kg / m² or in patients with BMI ≥ 35 associated with comorbidities. Faced with this intervention, it is common for some psychological impacts to occur, such as sudden weight loss, stress, mood disorder, anxiety, depression, binge eating, behavioral changes and suicidal ideation. Objective: To evaluate the psychological impacts on people undergoing bariatric surgery. Method: Literature review with integrative approach, with publications of 2009-2018, in Portuguese, English and Spanish and that address the subject of study clearly, available in electronic databases such as: Virtual Health Library (VHL), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (Medline), Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature (Lilacs) and Electronic Health Journals. Results: Based on the studies, bariatric surgery has been the most commonly used intervention to combat the disease. Obesity, however, can trigger some eating disorders that lead to both excess and weight loss. After surgery the most common are: binge eating, bulimia and anorexia. Final considerations: It was possible to notice that bariatric surgery has a great impact on the patient's emotional sphere. The National Policy on Continuing Education in Health aims to reorder the logic for the training of health workers and teams through the formulation of policies for management, training, qualification and regulation aimed at health workers in Brazil. Objective: To know the Brazilian scientific production regarding the implementation of the National Policy of Permanent Education in Health. Method: Integrative literature review. Ten articles published in the period 2009-2018, from the Virtual Health Library databases, were included. RESULTS: Based on the evaluation of the research data, the educational practices developed by the Permanent Education in Health, the advances and difficulties faced by the teams were highlighted. Final considerations: Although it is aware of the indispensability of implementing the National Policy on Continuing Education in Health, it is perceived that in practice it is a reality far from being fully fulfilled. The implementation of an injury commission is aimed at improving the evaluation of affected patients, preventing future injuries and improving the quality of care. Objective: Identify in the literary production how the actions of prevention of pressure ulcers. Methodology: This is an integrative review of the literature. The databases used were: LILACS, BDENF, SciELO, MEDLINE and PubMed.We searched for works published between the years 2009 and 2018, in Portuguese and English, and that dealt closely with the central theme of this study. Results: The sample consists of 08 articles.Three themes emerged in the analysis: Identification of risk factors associated with UPP, Prevention actions implemented to prevent UPP, and The role of commissions and the nursing team in prevention. Non-pharmacological methods may be administered during labor in order to control pain and not harm mother and fetus. Objective: To know the importance of non-pharmacological methods for the relief of pain in women during labor. Methodology: This is a literature review of the integrative type, carried out by means of a bibliographic survey in the databases SciELO and Google Scholar in the period from 2005 to 2018. We selected 13 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, bringing good results in the practice of non-pharmacological methods for the relief of parturient pain. Results: Based on the analysis of the articles, the following categories were constructed: Importance of non-pharmacological methods for the relief of pain during labor; Effects of non-pharmacological methods of pain relief on labor and Obstetric nurse performance in normal childbirth care. Final considerations: Non-pharmacological methods of pain relief during labor provide comfort, well-being, active participation of pregnant women, and progression of labor. In 1910, Brazilian life expectancy was 33.4 years, increasing to 64.8 years in 2000 and to 75.2 years in 2014. The nursing team performs a set of competencies that the purpose of meeting the need of the patient, preventing, recovering and rehabilitating again. Objective: to analyze nursing interventions in rehabilitation in patients affected by stroke. Method: Review of the literature in 6 scientific databases. The corpus of this study is of 7 articles in the years 2004 to 2014, carried out analysis of content and categorization of the theme. Results: Identified in the articles a greater number of interventions assists, then educational and management. Those in the care domain are more related to care provided in care interventions, planning and assessment of care. Regarding education, the articles point out the importance of the role of nurses as educators, as well as patients, family members and caregivers. The main managerial intervention was the coordination of care, transfers to another sector and high medication. Understanding at what point the negative decision is essential, in order to adopt measures for its reversal. Objective: To analyze the reasons for family refusal to donate organs and tissues.Methodology: This is an integrative review, with the purpose of gathering and synthesizing research results on a delimited theme or issue, in a systematic and orderly manner, contributing to the deepening of knowledge about the investigated theme. Results: Among the factors that influence family members the refusal of organ donation are the lack of knowledge about the concept of BD, religious factors, lack of desire of the loved one and desire not to donate still in life of the deceased family member. Method: This is a qualitative descriptive study, with eight ostomized adult participants, who were interviewed in depth with the application of a semi-structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed according to Bardin reference, categorical type, the exploration of the material and interpretation of the data led to the establishment of the following subjects: Socioeconomic, demographic and clinical aspects of the participants ; perception of sexuality about the stoma; impact of ostomy on sexuality. Results: ostomized patients understand the stoma perception about their sexuality, both related to the sexual act and in a broader way. The impacts of sexuality were: body perception, impact on the sexual act, loss of libido. Objective:To analyze the perception of pregnant adolescents about paternal participation in the gestational period. Methodology:This is a descriptive, exploratory, qualitative field research whose participation in the study were nine pregnant adolescents who were enrolled in the prenatal service of a public maternity of Salvador, having as instrument of collection of given a semi-structured interview script. Results:Paternal participation in gestation strengthens the family relationship and contributes to a healthy gestation, in addition, the father is no longer seen as a provider and becomes a participant in the actions of care for the partner and the child.
