Abstract
The use of design strategies that aim to achieve the user's well-being in
different types of buildings, promotes their psychological, physical and
mental restoration. In establishments directly concerned with health
recovery, the use of concepts such as neuroscience applied to
architecture, environmental psychology and biophilia make building a
direct agent in the recovery of patients. Based on studies in these areas,
it is possible to obtain reliable results for the execution of an evidencebased project. The present work aims to investigate these concepts and
apply them in the elaboration of the architectural, urban and landscape
design of a Neurorehabilitation Center in the city of Lauro de Freitas,
Bahia.
