For this, we use a qualitative approach and adopt bibliographic research, since we rely on previous researches and productions on the theme to build our knowledge. It is concluded that one of the main causes that prevent the patient's consent to a medical procedure is the lack of understanding of medical terms and variations, and thus the search for linguistic equity in the implementation of the ICF promotes the patient's dignity and autonomy.Acesso AbertoDireito à informaçãoRelação médico-pacienteTermo de consentimentoDever de esclarecimentoAutonomia e dignidade do indivíduoRight to informationDoctor patient relationshipConsent formDuty of clarificationAutonomy and dignity of the individualA linguagem e o direito médico: reflexões acerca da maneira como o consentimento livre e esclarecido é informado na relação médico-pacienteLanguage and medical law: reflections about the way as free and excluded consent is informed in medical-patient relationshipCongresso Internacional de Direito (2. : 2018: Salvador, Ba)Artigo de EventoCiências Sociais AplicadasDireito
