The question that the article aims to answer is what are the influences pronounced by the drug war in the USA, in the Brazilian context, with the general objective of analyzing the influence of the drug war on Brazilian public policies to combat drug trafficking; and as specific objectives, the identification of how these influences act in Brazilian public policies to combat drug trafficking and the reflection on the effectiveness of these public influences in Bahia.
