2019-01-302019-01-302019-01-302018-11-06https://ri.ucsal.br/handle/prefix/672Palliative care is the assistance promoted by the multidisciplinary team, aiming to improve the quality of life of patients and their families, through the prevention and relief of suffering, early identification, evaluation and treatment of pain and other physical symptoms, social, psychological and spiritual. The actions of the nurse comprise, in essence, the care itself, regardless of the purpose of the treatment to be preventive, curative, rehabilitative or palliative. OBJECTIVE: To know the attributions of the nurse in palliative care in oncological patient care METHODOLOGY: This is an integrative review of a qualitative and descriptive character, with publications, original, in Portuguese, collected electronically from the Electronic Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO) and Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences (LILACS).
