Objective: To analyze the factors that interfere in the care of people with chronic diseases in primary health care. Methodology: This is a literature review of the integrative type. Results: of the 427 articles found only 14 met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The majority of the studies were published from 2013 and 2015, were the years that presented a greater frequency of publications (21.4%), followed from 2010 to 2017 with 14.2% and the years of 2012 and 2016 were selected only a study for each year, corresponded to a percentage of 7.1%. Final considerations: it is necessary to strengthen the basic levels of health care in the ESF. In this context, it can be evidenced that the multiprofessional work is a great challenge to be achieved, in what concerns the integrality in the health care of the family.
