2019-02-042019-02-042019-02-042017-12-14https://ri.ucsal.br/handle/prefix/743The present study deals with the role of nurses in the classification of risk in the UPA, with concepts since the Reception, bringing the importance of patient screening, showing in simple form the Manchester protocol, which is a screening protocol used to make the flow of patients taking them out of risk of death. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the role of the Nurse in the ACCR in a Emergency Care Unit, in addition to discussing the importance of CRC to the nurses in the Emergency Care Unit. METHODOLOGY: This study is characterized as a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. It was performed with nurses who work in the ACCR of a Unit of Emergency Care (UPA), for the collection of data was used as technique the semi-structured interview. CONCLUSION: The work presented brought the view of the importance of the nurse in the ACCR, of the difficulties and facilities found by the professionals of a UPA. The CCR despite being installed, there are needs, as identified by professionals such as, professional shortages and high patient demand.
