Objective: To analyze the breastfeeding process in postpartum adolescents. METHOD: This study is an integrative review of literature conducted through the database: MEDLINE (pubmed), Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences Information (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO) and manual search in the references of the published articles. Results: The research was formed by a sample of 11 articles being published from 2004 to 2018, all of them addressing in their context, the categories that emerged were: Breastfeeding in adolescence; Risk factors for early weaning.
