Therefore, the present study aims to gather information, through a literature review, that addresses the association of human exposure to pesticides and the impacts that can cause human health was used in this narrative review, the PubMed database, involving studies between the period 2010 to 2020. Articles researched so far demonstrate that glyphosate can have an impact on human health in relation to exposure to the environment with the presence of glyphosate and to the consumption of contaminated food causing chronic non-communicable diseases for the exposed population, however, further studies are necessary to prove the direct association of the herbicide with harmful health effects, both in relation to exposure to the environment and also in the intake of food contaminated by it.Acesso AbertoGlifosatoToxicidadeDoença crônicaToxicidade de pesticidasGlyphosateToxicityChronic diseasesHealth hazardsToxicity of pesticidesO impacto do glifosato na saúde humana: revisão narrativaTrabalho de Conclusão de CursoCiências da SaúdeNutrição
