2019-02-252019-02-252018-08-31https://ri.ucsal.br/handle/prefix/782The present work aims to understand the packaging and discarding process of used lamps in Public Lighting in the city of Salvador / Bahia, as well as proposes to the actions and procedures that can be implemented within the municipal management, in the sense to promote the packaging and disposal solid waste. The methodology used to develop the present dissertation is based on bibliographic research, secondary and primary collected data in the Public Lighting Services Directorate of Salvador Municipality, in the National Environment Policy, in the National Waste Solid Policy, in the 1.988 Constitution, in the Sectorial Agreement of Lamps, among other legislations that discipline the subject. The present study aims to analyze if the packaging and disposal used lamps practices in Public Lighting of Salvador Municipality (2016/2017) are in accordance with the current legislation and the aforementioned agreement sector.
