OBJECTIVES: To identify in the academic literature articles that address the administration of interpersonal conflicts in the work process of the nursing manager. METHODOLOGY: Articles were selected, and scientific publications were selected from the virtual databases: SciELO, LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF; comprised between 2010 and 2017, in Portuguese. RESULTS: Of the studies analyzed, ten of them brought relevant approaches to conflicts. DISCUSSION: The results presented in the form of thematic categories are as follows: Nursing leadership; The causes of conflicts and solutions to conflicts.
