2021-08-162021-07-162021-08-162021-06-11https://ri.ucsal.br/handle/prefix/4517Introduction: Psychological illnesses such as depression and anxiety, have already affected health professionals, especially nursing, for years, however, with the confrontation of the republication pandemic by the new coronavirus, which started between 2019 and 2020, it has aggravated even more the psychic affections these professionals, leading to an increase in the risk of suicide and bringing the need for attention to these employees. Objective: to analyze the development of anxiety and depression among nursing professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methodology: This is an integrative review of the scientific literature, carried out between 2020 and 2021, where the Boolean operators, AND, OR AND AND NOT were used to cross-reference the descriptors. Results and Discussion: We found 10 studies of these 02 from SCIELO, 04 from MEDLINE, 01 from LILACS and 03 from BDENF, in addition 03 studies have international origin (02 from China and 01 from Portugal) and 08 were conducted in Brazil. Final Considerations: It is possible to identify the highest prevalence of symptoms suggestive of depression, when compared to anxiety, in brazil.
