    Efetividade da fisioterapia em indivíduos após mastectomia radical: revisão narrativa

    To make a review of narrative literature about the effectiveness of the physiotherapeutic approach on individuals after a radical mastectomy. Methods: The following databases were consulted: LILACS, MEDLINE, SciELO, Academic Google, and the following types of study: Case Control and Experimentals. It was included studies about breast cancer, mastectomy and physiotherapeutic techniques. The searches occurred in the period from February to May 2019 Results: The studies found evidenced that the intervention of physical therapy is effective on reducing the complications after a mastectomy. Conclusion: It was concluded that the physiotherapy action has a great importance, because through a set of therapeutic approaches it is able to prevent and reduce the main complications in the postoperative period of radical mastectomy
