For this, we used descriptive research, through analytical-interpretive-deductive method, using standardized techniques in data collection, such as interviews with institutions, associations, departments of the municipal government, real estate agents, residents and park users, and systematic observation site, as well as cartographic and statistical surveys. Thus, we observe, record, analyze, classify, and interpret the data collected. The goal of this research is whether there was a direct or indirect influence of Parque da Cidade urban transformations of that district from 2007 to 2014. Results showed that joining factors such as allotments, the deployment of the Centro Industrial Subaé (CIS) the deployment of Parque da Cidade and the Programa Minha Casa Minha Vida (PMCMV) led an urban and commercial development in the neighborhood Tomba as the surrounding neighborhoods and the Aviário and the Subaé. It was concluded that the Parque da Cidade came from an independent urban design master plan of the city and the local society gave him most representative interpretations in terms of elements and references, transforming the space into a public space with determinant for local ownership. The conclusion is complemented with the observation in the search result that public-private partnership with housing programs designed to enable them meet the demands of a society in a local context, the scalar level, is able to lead transformations in urban space so positiveItem Crescimento e territorialidade: uma leitura geoeconômica de dois momentos da indústria no município de Ilhéus, Bahia(Universidade Catolica de Salvador, 2009-10) Falcão, Plínio Martins; Fernandes, Rosali Braga; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem Estrutura habitacional e manancial hídrico em Feira de Santana (BA): uma abordagem sobre conjuntos da Urbis(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2006-10) Falcão, Plínio Martins; Santos, Leila Medeiros; Santo, Sandra Medeiros; Fernandes, Rosali Braga; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem Feira de Santana – Bahia: o crescimento urbano-regional da princesa do sertão(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2008-10) Lima, Jamile de Brito; Nascimento, Vitor Souza do; Fernandes, Rosali Braga; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem Jequié: dinâmicas e retrações urbanas(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-01-27) Marcelo, Valter Luiz dos Santos; Vasconcelos, Pedro de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Silva, Maina Pirajá; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Nery, Maria Goreth e Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Fernandes, Rosali Braga; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Carvalho, Silvana Sá de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/Studies about city development attract attention and encourage debates in several areas of knowledge. In Brazil, such studies gain relevance with the implantation of universities and the Brazilian state structuring. To understand the city it is not enough to live in it or to observe it. It is necessary to know its geography, history, and dynamics. This research analyzes the transformations in the city of Jequie, in the State of Bahia, considering the periods of dynamism and socioeconomic downturns. The method of historical approach was adopted, from the perspective of Urban Geography, specifically Historical Urban Geography. To better approximate and understand the city's processes and spatial forms, primary and secondary sources were sought and analyzed through bibliographical, documentary, and field research. The principal social agents that acted in its territorial development modeling processes were identified. This text has four chapters, plus the final considerations, references, and appendix. In the introductory chapter, the literature review on the object of study, the city of Jequie, was elaborated. In the second chapter, the theoretical-conceptual and methodological framework that bases this study development was presented, emphasizing the contributions of Milton Santos, Pedro de Almeida Vasconcelos, and Roberto Lobato Corrêa. In the third chapter, the antecedents of the formation of the city were analyzed. Then, a periodization was elaborated to understand its trajectory, considering three periods, in which the historical and geographical context, the actions of the social agents, and the territorial development of the city were analyzed. In the fourth chapter, an analysis of Jequie's spatial structure was made, highlighting the organization of economic and social spaces, housing occupations, and its territorial development axes. In this perspective, it was concluded that the transformations in the urban space of Jequié increased the differentiation of the space, providing the formation of different territories, making evident the need for social agents, with emphasis on the actions of the State, which needs to take measures concerning infrastructure, mainly in the sectors of transport, education, health, leisure, sanitation, and housing and in stimulating the supply of work and income.Item Loterias: uma parceria público-privada no território de Salvador(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2007-11-19) Pereira, Aliger dos Santos; Silva, Barbara-Christine Marie Nentwig; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5208385042617832; Silva, Sylvio Carlos Bandeira de Mello e; Fernandes, Rosali Braga; Silva, Sylvio Carlos Bandeira de Mello eThe dissertation is the result of a research about the lotto gambling in the territory of Salvador city during the last terms of 2002 and 2003. The methodology basis was inductive with documental, bibliographical and field research. The main goal of the research was to categorize Salvador’s urban inner space from the analysis of the relations among the several different neighborhoods over the city through the lotto gambling. The different types of games are: Numbers Forecast (Mega Sena, Lotomania, Quina and Dupla Sena), Tickets (Instantânea and Federal) and Sports Forecast (Loteca and Lotogol). These different types of games enabled the analysis of the different kinds of people profiles that are attracted do these games. With these elements at hand, some of Salvador’s territory characteristics were described answering the research’s main questioning: the lotto gambling in the different neighborhoods of Salvador may or may not help to draw the territorial dynamics and the territoriality of Salvador? The theoretical basis and the field work had its development mainly from the researches of Walter Christaller, with these concepts: territory, territory dynamics’ relations and urban center. At the end was seen the lotto gambling spots identified, map and classified by neighborhood e by the type of game in four categories: the 25% most visited, the ones with 25% to 50%, the responsible for 50% a 75% of visits and the ones with 75% to 100% of visits. From the 25% most visited to the last (75% to 100%) it is possible to see a decay of centrality in the neighborhoods and also a decay of importance in the population of Salvador. That shows the hierarchy of neighborhoods in the city and also the dependency of one another in their relations. Confirming in this way the central places theory referred from Walter Christaller.Item Processo de segregação sócio-espacial em Salvador: o caso de Pirajá(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2008-10) Rebouças, Fádia dos Reis; Fernandes, Rosali Braga; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem A questão da moradia em Salvador e os impactos ambientais na formação do Cabula - bairro popular estratégico da cidade(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2003-10) Regina, Maria Emília Rodrigues; Fernandes, Rosali Braga; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem A regionalização como um critério para limites vigentes na cidade de Salvador – Bahia (Brasil)(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2008-10) Santos, Midiã Conceição; Silva, Milena Cerqueira da; Fernandes, Rosali Braga; Falcão, Plínio Martins; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem Segregação residencial urbana na cidade de Luís Eduardo Magalhães – Bahia(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2008-10) Magalhães, Iara de Araújo; Fernandes, Rosali Braga; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem Tradição e mudanças recentes no território de Amélia Rodrigues(Universidade Catolica de Salvador, 2017-01-31) Nascimento, Ednalda Marques Araújo do; Silva, Barbara-Christine Marie Nentwig; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5208385042617832; Carvalho, Silvana Sá de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2509418288797497; Fernandes, Rosali Braga; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3393392811162373The sugar productions print their marks and constitute the territoriality of the municipality of Amélia Rodrigues. The research entitled Tradition and Recent Changes in the Territory of Amélia Rodrigues - Bahia was carried out with the objective of analyzing what are the factors that are present in the changes that take place in this municipality, where the traditions of the historical Recôncavo Açucareiro are present. These productions have repercussions on the municipal demographic dynamics, initially concentrated in the rural areas of the districts that, in the 1960s, form the municipality of Amélia Rodrigues. Its economic base is agricultural, more specifically sugar and its mainly urban population. As a result, a population that demands work, incipient in the municipality. The research reveals that the year 2015 represents for this community the end of the predominance of sugar cane with the paralysis of the activities of the sugar and ethanol company Aliança, of the group União Açucareira Limitada (UNIAL), its largest employer that leaves by legacy, sugar structures and a Low school education and professional qualification that needs to migrate to other municipalities in search of work. These factors are associated with the presence of the BR-324 highway, which cuts the headquarters district and increases the possibilities of displacement of this population, geographically approaching the urban centers of Salvador and especially Feira de Santana, with repercussions on the growth of the economy local. At the same time, the highway reveals itself as an element that contributes to a possible integration into the economy of Feira de Santana, as we can see the attraction of some small and medium-sized industries installed in the municipality in the period from 2000-2016, along the highway And other activities in the services segment in the headquarters district, mainly in the city center.
