Item Agricultura familiar e sustentabilidade em Mutuípe-BA: estudo propositivo sobre planejamento agroecológico de produção agrícola em comunidade rural(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2012-02-24) Dórea, Antônio Tadeu Neves; Alencar, Cristina Maria Macêdo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2257876241055037; Kraychete Sobrinho, Gabriel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5942435085656828; Araújo, Quintino Reis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0092436602256681Family farming is favorable to the adoption of more ecologically balanced production practices, such as growing diversity, reduced use of industrial additives and the preservation of genetic inheritance. In this sense, agroecosystems can be understood as fundamental unities to the analysis and planning of human interferences in order to reach a sustainable development in agriculture. This study examines the possibilities and limitations of planning agroecologically a rural community’s agricultural production. It is a descriptive study that relies on a qualitative approach. To make it possible, pieces of information have been collected among family farmers from the Community of Água Fria in the city of Mutuípe-BA. Several variables (both external – farming technology, rural credit – and internal – sociocultural elements, social organization, schooling, and internal working capacity) that might interfere or influence the agroecological planning were identified. Although in the present moment this agroecological planning is concluded as impracticable, it does have a great potential, since it could effectively make use of the sociocultural conditions that exists in the family farming. In this context, the implantation of a social and technological business incubator is proposed so that the two variables identified in this study could be minimized and, as consequence, the agroecological planning of that rural community’s agricultural production could be possible.Item Desenvolvimento territorial em conflito: um estudo sobre a implantação do Estaleiro Enseada Indústria Naval na perspectiva do direito ambiental(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2019-04-26) Ferreira, Ícaro Argolo; Ivo, Anete Brito Leal; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9638917902863360; Prost, Catherine; Kraychete Sobrinho, Gabriel; Souza, Claudio André de; Cunha, Joaci de Souza; Silva, Antônio Carlos daThis thesis analyzed the asymmetric relationships between two national and local projects in the construction and implementation of the Enseada Naval Industry Shipyard project in the Paraguaçu Basin, state of Bahia, observing these changes from the perspective of the right to development of the local population over the territory of the enterprise. It considers the conflicting dimension of diversified interests between state and business public agents and local actors on the territory's destiny. To this end, it is based on the process of constitution of the public decision on the enterprise, and, in this line, analyzes the strategies used by the various agents, especially government agencies such as the Union and the Government of the State of Bahia and the a consortium made up of contractors such as Odebrecht, OAS, UTC and Kawasaki, which jointly achieved approval and installation of the project, an event that integrates a national development recovery project based on the 2007 Growth Acceleration Plan (PAC) , and the resumption of the naval industry. From the methodological point of view, the study starts from the notion of "event", proposed by Milton Santos (1996), by which it is possible to articulate the dimensions of time and space, understanding that the installation of the Naval Shipyard Shipyard constitutes a disruptive episode, which reorganizes local and national actors in relation to the territory, and changes the living conditions of the communities living in the region. Articulated to this dimension, the study will seek to recompose the dynamics of transformation in its different instances based on the actors' actions and the implementation of institutional rules and norms that delimit the action and make up the arena of conflict between actors, defines the process of making decisions, advances, resources and impacts that have occurred throughout the process. The disruption of the project due to the national institutional crisis brought with it the destruction of the pillars of projected change by the local community and strongly impacted on the rights of actors involved in the installation of the site, both local and national, as an instrument of the national development policy. In this sense, based on the process of local change, the study could reach the reasons that led to the political and economic crisis and how it is concretely effective in the removal of citizens' rights to local economic, political and social life.Item Economia dos setores populares e inserção social pelo trabalho: a reprodução da vida para além da norma salarial(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2018-10-01) Kraychete Sobrinho, Gabriel; Ivo, Anete Brito Leal; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9638917902863360; Ramalho, José Ricardo Garcia Pereira; Silva, Roberto Marinho Alves da; Lepikson, Maria de Fátima Pessôa; Borges, Ângela Maria de CarvalhoThis thesis presents a critical analysis of the (un) connection between the foundations underlying the politics of social insertion through labor – predominantly based on the condition of the labor force commodity and regular wage earner employment – and the effective dynamics of the agents of the popular sectors. To formulate this critique, the thesis makes a theoretical and practical characterization of the popular sector's economy, in order to make explicit its peculiar dynamics. This understanding guided the analysis and statistical treatment for the sizing of this economy, and the characterization of the profile of the workers employed in it. The starting point of this analytical effort consists in the description of three typical situations, composed based on the effective practices of the agents, which illustrate scenes of life and work organization that transcend the representation of wage earner labor. Its analytical function is to highlight the social reality that one wants to understand from a theoretical point of view, from which the fundamentals underlying the politics of social insertion through work are interpellated. The thesis presents a conceptual historical view of the process of (un) commodification of the labor force in capitalism – with the institution of social rights that refer to the wage society – and to the singular historical process in which it occurred in Brazil, and particularly in Bahia, the incorporation of the workers in the capitalist order, revealing the structural character of an urban popular economy that precedes, reproduces and is rebuilt with and beyond the wage norm. The parts that compose the chapters mobilize a set of arguments in a reflexive analytical movement, which contains a ´come and go´ between the social reality represented by the model situations, the theoretical formulations, and the insertion politics. It concludes that the theoretical notions that guide the policies of social insertion through work do not capture what is unique in the social reality portrayed by "typical situations". This disconnection between theoretical categories and real dynamics keeps the work and daily life of millions of people in the dark as a hidden face of our capitalism, compelling them from the analytical point of view to the limits of social relations, consecrating the disjunction between work and citizenship. In the end, the thesis returns, methodologically and analytically, to the scenes of life, explaining the political dimension of an economy conceptual approach of the popular sectors in a transformative perspective of the citizen affirmation of work.Item Economia dos setores populares: um programa de extensão e pesquisa(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2003-10) Kraychete Sobrinho, Gabriel; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do Salvador
