    At first a brief history of Brazilian electoral law, studying the concepts and their species, as well as approaching and grounding the principles that guide electoral law, analyzing the political rights foreseen in the Federal Constitution of 1988, Law 9,504 of 1997, of the elections, among them in particular, law 13.165 / 2015, which will analyze the reduction of electoral campaign deadlines, the reduction of the deadline for the trial of the electoral processes, which brings new understandings regarding the results now reached by the mini - reform of 2015 that emerged with the purpose of meeting the interests and desires of society without prejudice to pre - candidates for elective positions, not hindering the work of electoral justice, since we have the basic principle of electoral law procedural speed. And finally will be presented hypotheses in which the law 13.165 of 2015, articles 16 and 36 present some controversial points regarding the reduction of the campaign period.
