    This article is the result of a research whose general objective was to analyze the public policies for the eradication of child labor in Brazil, its way of acting and the results obtained in recent years. Initially we sought to analyze the historical context of child labor in Brazil, the country's legislation on the subject, and the current stage of child labor in Brazil. In conclusive lines it is possible to understand that since the implementation of the Program for the Eradication of Child Labor and the Bolsa Família Program, the number of working children in the country has been significantly reduced, despite the significant number of children in employment, public policies , have achieved good results in the fight against child labor in Brazil. The methodology used was the bibliographic research and documents.
