    This article deals with how the shared custody of pets is treated and aims to bring the reader about the importance and the way in which the Brazilian legal system nowadays deals with the issues that will determine with whom the custody of the animal will continue. pet after the dissolution of the conjugal partnership. In this way, an analysis will be made regarding matters involving family, divorce and shared custody.
