    Obesity is established by the excess fat in a person's body. Considered as a public health problem, the health of the individual has many consequences. The number of obese children and youth has grown in the world, which is a cause for concern, as it compromises the individual's health and reduces the quality of life.Objective: Analyze through an integrative review the main determinants of childhood obesity in children.Method: Used behind data from the theoretical literature seeking a deeper knowledge about the determinants of childhood obesity in children. Results: The study was carried out in articles published between 2015 to 2019 with national publications of qualitative, cross-sectional, quantitative and epdemiological studies. Conclusion: Which revealed that childhood and youth obesity is linked to other diseases such as hypertension and diabetes and that many are the factors that influence childhood and youth obesity.
