The general objective of this work was to understand the manifestations of racism in the way of life of black man in homeless situation. It is grounded in Marxist theory and dialectical approach and the method of historical and intersectional procedure, in order to understand the black man in the street situation beyond the class category, but also with an intersectional notion, through the categories of race, gender and class. Documentary research was used in the Stand Up and Walk Project documents, reports and field diary produced during supervised internship and bibliographic review of articles, books, thesis, dissertations and monographs.
