    A importância da comissão de pele no ambiente hospitalar para prevenção de lesões cutâneas: revisão integrativa

    Skin can be affected by injury through tissue damage or as a consequence of physiological and clinical disorders.These injuries can have serious consequences on the quality of life of patients and their families, on the quality of care, and on raising costs with material resources. The implementation of an injury commission is aimed at improving the evaluation of affected patients, preventing future injuries and improving the quality of care. Objective: Identify in the literary production how the actions of prevention of pressure ulcers. Methodology: This is an integrative review of the literature. The databases used were: LILACS, BDENF, SciELO, MEDLINE and PubMed.We searched for works published between the years 2009 and 2018, in Portuguese and English, and that dealt closely with the central theme of this study. Results: The sample consists of 08 articles.Three themes emerged in the analysis: Identification of risk factors associated with UPP, Prevention actions implemented to prevent UPP, and The role of commissions and the nursing team in prevention. Final Considerations: The number of patients who are affected by skin lesions, especially pressure ulcers, remains high.Therefore, it is efficient to implement a Skin Care Commission in the hospital environment to minimize and prevent possible errors of care related to the prevention and treatment of skin lesions.
