    The purpose of this article is to analyze the influence of the media on decisions made in criminal proceedings, through its influence on society. Based on the constitutional assumptions of the indispensability of having the accused the right to face due process of law, which is fair and impartial. Bringing as a means of resolving the conflict the balance between the Principle of Presumption of Innocence to guarantee the constitutional principle of due process and the limits of the Principle of Press Freedom. The analysis aims to highlight the importance of a balance between press freedom and the presumption of innocence, since human dignity is the limit for the other constitutional principles.
