Igreja, política, economia e ecologia integral no pontificado do Papa Francisco
(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-10) Martínez, Sergio Esteban González; Zapattini, Vidal Valentin Cantero; Menezes, Jairo de Jesus; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do Salvador
This paper highlights the importance of the Church's mission in the social sphere through the participation of politics, economy, and ecology, for the common good and the care of the fragile and vulnerable in society. Each member of the social reality through its identity and function is called to collaborate in the development of nations and people, without losing the broad sense of this term or reducing it to mere profitability. In the light of Pope Francis' pontificate, this writing puts some light for fraternity and social friendship for the benefit of a new society that values all of creation, that is, human beings, cultures, and especially nature, which manifests the beauty of the Creator in its varied and limited resources.
