Os sentidos das drogas na sociedade contemporânea: ecos entre os jovens e a família
(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2019-04-02) Miranda, Marlene Barreto Santos; Castro, Mary Garcia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/
The present dissertation is both a reflexive essay on the imagery involving drugs and how it affects families, considering such constructs nowadays, the sense of insecurity, guilt and omnipotence, and the little investment in the understanding of youth as an initiation rite, their anguish and sense not only of brotherhood but also of socialization through the contemporary ethos of consumption, individualism and search. This study insists on some scholars’ proposal that the psychoactive substances (PAS) link life history, ambiance, macro-referred conditioning; however, the tendency is that of reducing, on a commonsense plane, these analytic levels as well as the diversity of users. After the debates about imagery, drugs history writing, competent specialized discourses from varied subjects, this dissertation turns to the empirical, focusing on last years’ students of elementary and high school in Salvador, rendering its own reading of research carried out on the theme drugs and school (CASTRO and ABRAMOVAY, 2002).
