Item Adolescentes:o que eles pensam da família?(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-03-31) Bahia, Edson Queiroz; Petrini, Giancarlo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Moreira, Lúcia Vaz de Campos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Carneiro, Suzana Filizola B.; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Santos, José Eduardo Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/The present dissertation focuses on the period of development of the individual between 14 and 18 years of age, and, attentive to the countless transformations that the family has undergone in the last decades, and considering the various types of arrangements existing today, advances in the to identify the impact and influence it has on the development of adolescents and how they see and understand it. The work presents the basic functions performed by the family institution during the process of emotional, cultural and cognitive development of adolescents, and the transitions that bring about great changes in the formation of the identity of young people, analyzing the mechanisms that, despite changes in society, remain the same ones, as pointed out by the numerous studies on the theme. This dissertation also presents a systematization of the results obtained through a bibliographic study involving the descriptors: family, adolescent and adolescence, as well as the field study carried out with adolescents of the studied age group. Finally, the family is identified as one of the main elements that can both help and hinder young people in their choices, and will depend on the type of experiences lived by their ancestors in the recent past, and when the teenager recognizes these influences, he can use them consciously and establish your personal and family life plan for the future.Item Os afetos na conjugalidade contemporânea: uma abordagem a partir do pensamento de Karol Wojtyla(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-03-30) Farias, Marcos Venicius Studart; Fornasier, Rafael Cerqueira; http://lattes.cnpq.br; Carvalho, Patrícia Anjos Lima de; http://lattes.cnpq.br; Petrini, Giancarlo; http://lattes.cnpq.brIt highlights the affections in contemporary conjugality based on an approach to Karol Wojtyla's thought. It demonstrates from a historical clipping the thought of important theorists in the field of conjugality, as well as examines the Wojtilian contributions presenting its topicality. The methodological option was the narrative review, whose mobilized axes were: bibliographic research, consisting of the examination, survey and analysis of the existing material on the subject, national and foreign books and scientific articles. The results suggest that conjugal relations are a privileged place for the emergence and development of affections. The body, in Wojtylian thought is conceived as the language of the person, which within the man-woman relationship reaffirms its spousal sense. It is observed that the general objective was met, because effectively the work was able to demonstrate that through the reflection and discussion of the various aspects of reflection, affections, in most authors, are the origin and basis of conjugal relationships. Karol Wojtyla's reflection on man finds in the "personalist principle" its key point, from which he tries to recover the concept of person. He perceives an inadequate distinction between individual and person, which makes it impossible to adequately interpret the being of man and woman. By giving an enhancement to individuality and denying the interpersonal dimension.Item Capital social, família e redução da pobreza: um percurso na literatura(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2013-07-30) Cunha, José Onofre Gurjão Boavista da; Petrini, Giancarlo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1018186216920083; Alcântara, Miriã Alves Ramos de; Cavalcanti, Vanessa Ribeiro Simon; Maia, José Afonso Ferreira; Ulian, Ana Lúcia Alcântara de OliveiraInserted in the research line "Family and Society", this thesis aims to present the social and family capital as important tools in the generation of effective social policies to combat poverty and to empower poor community groups in the effort to overcome its difficulties, with its members acting in solidarity and cooperative towards the common good. To do so, we took as basis the study of capital, poverty and family, representing three categories that occupy remarkable dimensions in the study of social sciences in particular, and in almost all other areas of knowledge. The capital, which is a central thesis of this paper, lined up the importance it has today only since the 1980s and has been widely examined as to their existence, their concepts, paradigm in building toward maturity, model analytical and applications in the real world, with the contribution of a large number of authors, national and international, pointing to the fight against poverty and living up to their status instrument that embodies the object of research. Already addressing poverty was designed around two axes: the first deals with poverty as a problem for knowledge, involving different concepts around the topic and bringing measurements that give an approximate idea of their extent and significance, and point the direction of the concrete measures and programs geared to their effective coping. The second axis consists of working poverty as a problem for the action, including social protection and public policies that build their quantitative reduction as an important element of the performance of State and other organizations in that particular field. We examined texts by important authors who have studied the subject in the context of various areas of knowledge they represent, rising data and information about community programs and projects successful, virtuous, to overcome poverty through the use of social capital, both in Brazil and in other countries, synthesizing this process of dealing with the problem as a matter inserted in the struggle for human rights and sustainable economic-social-environmental on the planet. The family, who in the postwar period came to be regarded as an outdated institution, for lack of functionality in modern times has resumed its role as a social subject indispensable to welcome and care for children and the elderly, as a reference for its members and partner essential for the implementation of public policy / social. It is worth noting the importance of family planning and execution of projects of life, starting point so you can glimpse an effective fight against poverty. The life project aims to immediate improvement of education, health, housing and employment and is located in direct opposition to the survival strategies that are concerned only with the immediate needs. The family is of fundamental role in the composition of this thesis work, especially on the approach of the constructive potential of what has been termed Family Social Capital, a still embryonic notion that shows promising perspectives in regard to fighting poverty through the relational goods produced personal relationships, own unique, established by family members in their scope and in the community context in which it is established.Item Conjugalidade: individuação e pertencimento em casais de movimento católico(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2008) Maciel, Francisco Nascelio; Petrini, Giancarlo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/It has been observed that the society in last the forty years has had a vast changeability and the conjugality is being affected in expressive way, noticing a search in answering to the yearnings of the spouses. After the 60th, the culture occidental prioritized the autonomy and independence. The conjugal link delineated two poles in an interaction of achievement of itself and the other: the belonging and the individuation. Thus, the couple contemporary is collated by two paradoxical forces that Wound-Sheep (1998) calls “the difficult conviviality of the individuality with the conjugality”. The ideals of the individuation stimulate the personal autonomy of the spouses and, on the other hand, they emphasize that the couple must support the growth and development of each one, appearing the necessity to carry through the personal desires and the conjugal projects. According to some authors, to value the individual spaces, many times means to fragilizar the conjugal spaces; in a similar way, to fortify the belonging demand almost always to yield ahead of the individuation. In this work the dimensions of the conjugality in the perspectives are approached sociological, theological, Biblical and of the Teaching of the Church, observing themselves the implications that emerge of the interactions of the couple. From the experiences of the researcher next to groups of on couples to the Church Catholic, in this exploratory study, our interest was to verify the influence of the spirituality of the Teams of Ours Lady in the couples of this movement, front to the individuation and the belonging. We tried to understand as these couples deal with situations of the culture contemporary, who emphasizes the autonomy of the individual, as well as analyzing the dimensions of the charisma one that they favor the relations of belonging between the couple. The qualitative boarding for the passage of the study method and for the construction of the script of collection of data was used. Interviews half-structuralized with four pertaining couples to this movement had been carried through catholic, residents in Salvador. These couples are of middle class, of different quarters and social standards that if they equalize. In order to preserve the identity of the couples, them they had been renomeados in fictitious way. For the analysis of the data, gotten by means of the interviews, we use the technique of thematic analysis of content. For the treatment and the interpretation of the gotten data, we listed two dimensions of the conjugality: one characterized for the individualization and another one for the belonging, being the two constructed from literature on the subject that is abundant and consensual. The information supplied for the involved couples in the research had demonstrated that most of them tends for the dimension of the belonging, notably fusional, disclosing that the interviewed couples present characteristics that approach more them of they differentiate what them. But the data had also pointed with respect to the influence of the process of individualization in the conjugal experience of these couples, disclosing the resonances of the modern ideas in the field of the marriage. Thus, they coexist in the story of each interviewed the two studied dimensions.Item Da prisão as relações familiares: as consequências da pena privativa de liberdade para a família(Universidade Catolica de Salvador, 2014-06-12) Oliveira Filho, Ney Menezes de; Petrini, Giancarlo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1018186216920083; Cappi, Riccardo; Moreira, Lúcia Vaz de CamposThis study aims to investigate the prison implications for family relationships of prisoners, from interviews in Dark Forest Penitentiary in Prison Read Break with prisoners in custody for ten (10) years or more in that prison. It is a qualitative research that seeks to highlight the importance of the convict's speech to the more refined understanding of the crafted theme. Moreover, it is observed that many professionals flying to study the criminal and family problem, but little credence is given to the inmates, subjects with the largest and most intimate experience, has to be specified. The search is triggered from your criminological axis, using the theoretical framework the paradigm of social reaction - also called Definitory - in which it is possible to study the criminal phenomenon from a different approach that regards the traditional criminology, ie the phenomenon is designed in a dynamic and diffuse way, not concentrated in the person of the offender liable, which allows a broader, interdisciplinary meaning about the complex and painful crime problem. Within the first objective of the study, we investigated the family, indicating the conceptual difficulty as well as the changes that can be noticed in our times. In the second axis of research, sought a qualitative analysis of the material collected from the interviews. Finally, the data collected from the interviews were analyzed, enabling the construction of interpretations supported the observation of reality.Item Envolvimento paterno no contexto da carreira militar: estudo de casos múltiplos em Salvador/BA(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2020-03-20) Portela, Jefferson de Souza Lima; Moreira, Lúcia Vaz de Campos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Petrini, Giancarlo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Carvalho, Ana Barreiros de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/This master's dissertation has the general objective understand how the exercise of the military profession can impact on parental involvement. Qualitative exploratory research was developed, through the study of multiple cases. The investigation was carried out with six male military officers, who are parents, aged between 33 and 45 years and are linked to the 6th Military Region Command. All respondents provide service in barracks located in the city of Salvador / Bahia. For data collection, the “Interview script for father involvement in the context of the military career” was constructed, which contains open questions addressing: (a) identification data; (b) paternity; (c) paternity and military training. After the study was approved by the UCSal Research Ethics Committee, interviews with military parents took place in a room at the military unit, which was characterized by being private. The interviews were recorded so that no information was lost and everyone signed the Free and Informed Consent Form. The recordings of the interviews were transcribed and the data obtained were analysed descriptively. The main results reveal that the participants attribute to the father characteristics such as: being responsible, educating, punishing those who should be punished and rewarding those who act correctly, transmitting moral and ethical values and caring. In addition, they emphasize that he needs to be affective and present in the lives of his children. Military training was found to have a major impact on his personal characteristics and fatherhood, especially in terms of discipline, hierarchy and values. In addition, social relations are basically geared towards people in their own work, as the military and his family are always moving to another city. It was also found a good level of interaction (they talk, set limits, eat meals together, play games, perform sports and leisure activities, help with school tasks), accessibility and responsibility (education, care and financial provision) of parents with regard to children. For parents who live in Military Village, contact with their children and wife at lunch time is facilitated. They also facilitate paternal involvement: wanting to be with the children (having an attachment), having a good marital relationship, trying to disconnect from work when you are with the family, common interests with the children, enjoying physical activities and being willing to have been young father. In turn, they affect parental involvement: temporary leave resulting from military activities in other cities, working on weekends or on missions that involve nights, such as camps, in addition to marital friction and demands for school performance. This research aims to analyze the family and religious education in the process of integral education of elementary students in municipal schools in Camaçari, considering that the demands of the 21st century drive people to seek education beyond the intellectual dimension. It is also necessary to think about the physical, emotional, social dimensions and not least the religious dimension. The offer of religious education in public schools in elementary school classes is a reality presented to contribute to the demand for this comprehensive education that includes all these dimensions. The research carried out, used the method of exploratory nature; thus, it made the problem more explicit and deepened the ideas about the object studied. In the first phase, we used the indirect documentation technique, providing a bibliographic reference to talk about the legal bases that support religious teaching in public schools, and the opinions of the authors who defend and those who refute this teaching in public school institutions. Discussions were developed about the integral formation of the being and, mainly, how this can be achieved with the contribution of the family and the Religious Education offered in the school. Then, field research was carried out in three schools in the municipality of Camaçari, whose source of data collection was the application of a semi-structured interview with three teachers who teach the discipline Religious Education and also with the parents of the students, finally the application questionnaire with 8th grade students, who were present on the day of application. The results found in the aforementioned research reveal that the Religious Education curricular component is mandatorily offered in the schools of the Final Years, only in the 8th year, but without any type of specific or continued training for teachers who teach the discipline.Item A família nas políticas sociais: o caso do Programa Bolsa Família(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2013-03-01) Dias, Marcelo Couto; Petrini, Giancarlo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Ramalho, José Rodorval; http://lattes.cnpq.br; Carvalho, Inaiá Maria Moreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.brIn Western countries, the last years have been marked for a increasing rediscovery of the value of family and of the micro solidarities. Proof of this is the emergence of the family both in discussions of social policies, as in the formulation of the same. In recent Brazilian context, gained prominence the creation and expansion of the Bolsa Familia, a program of direct income transfer with conditionalities that, in 2012, had among its beneficiaries more than 13 million families and establishing as one of its objectives the families´s emancipation. Given the scope of this program and the discovery, in earlier surveys, of the importance of family relationships to the social integration of individuals, the present study examined how family relationships and community are considered in this proposal and in academic research program that evaluate it. We search to understand the reasons that led to the emergence of family social policies in general, and specifically on income transfer programs, and analyze how the prioritization of the family can contribute to the improvement and increased effectiveness of social policies. For this was made a review of the specialized literature about the relation between family and social policies, and from it were built three categories of analysis: social integration, social family capital and welfare mix. Then we analyzed the primary data (Law n. 10.836, of 9 January of 2004, establishing the Bolsa Família Program and Decree n. 5209, of 17 September of 2004, that regulates it) and secondary (published evaluations in the form of scientific articles and books, between 2007 and 2011, showing the impacts, limits and possibilities of the program). It was found that the appearance of the family in social policies is associated with the recognition that the vital exercise of family is similar to the functions of social policies. Thus, the prioritization of families in social policies would be a way to find more effective alternatives with regard to overcoming situations of vulnerability. This is due to the understanding that families continue to be of great relevance to society, as they favor sociability, solidarity and social protection. Finally, it was discovered that the Bolsa Família Program recognizes the importance of family, especially as a socializing agent, as a provider of social care and as a social damper. But family relationships are not considered in their potential to generate social capital. So the family is used by the program, but not regenerated and promoted on their ability to contribute to the good of the person and social coexistence, which prevents the the achievement of the goal of empowering families.Item A família no cárcere: uma contribuição à crítica do método de cumprimento de pena criminal na APAC de Itaúna (MG)(Universidade Catolica de Salvador, 2014-05-19) Guerra, Rodrigo Ribeiro; Cavalcanti, Vanessa Ribeiro Simon; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6538283866214716; Estevão, Carlos Alberto Vilar; Silva, Antonio Carlos da; Petrini, GiancarloInsertedwithintheresearchlineof Family in the Social Sciences, thepresentdissertationfocusesontheBrazilian system offulfilmentofsentences, whichdeprivethe individual offreedom. Byfield research, it analyzes a model of sentence serving in which the preservation of family ties is one of the fundaments for the acheivement of the objective of the inmate’s (re)integration to the community. It is a qualitative research outlined by the case study of the system of the Association for the Protection and Assistance to the Condemned – APAC, int he city of Itaúna, in the countryside of Minas Gerais state, in the male prison. The theoretical approach used is the Tridimensional Law Theory and the axiological aspect of the Sacredness of the Peron. As for the Family approach and the family public policy, Singly (2000; 2007) and Donati’s (2008) are the theoretical fundaments in the analysis of norms and policies directed to the criminal justice system. The conclusion reached at the end of the investigation is that there is no way of reintegrating someone not yet integrated to the society as a human being, considering Human Rights are not for all human beings, or expecting that once deprived of their family ties the inmates have any structures left to prevent them from returning to the cycle of violence/incarceration.Item Filho do coração: o processo de adoção de crianças na perspectiva paterna(Universidade Catolica de Salvador, 2014-12-18) Oliveira, Teresa Cristina Ferreira de; Moreira, Lúcia Vaz de Campos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8863706292628331; Piccinini, Cesar Augusto; Petrini, GiancarloThis master's study aims to understand the child adoption process in the parental perspective. To achieve this scope, it was decided to develop a descriptive qualitative research. Five adoptive parents participated in the investigation, from avaraged-class, living in Salvador (Bahia), and they were accessed in two adoption support groups. Taped interview with each of them separately was made, therefore a script with open questions was built. Data were analyzed descriptively. All participants signed a consent form and the study was approved by UNEB Research Ethics Committee. The main results it was found that the reasons for adoption were varied: the father had a vasectomy at first marriage, after the coming of biological children, and have married again and want to have a child with the new wife; the father being adopted son and want to give back what had received from parents who welcomed; also appeared to adoption as a way of life, even the couple having biological children together; another issue was the fact that biological child with genetically transmitted disease; there was also the option for adoption instead of artificial insemination due to the difficulty in achieving pregnancy, which was motivated by religious issues. It was evident the importance of the decision process is the couple together so that family relationships elapse of more positive and favoring human development form. The criteria for choosing the adopted son also were many: look like the adoptive parents; be a girl or a couple; be baby; be healthy. In the first adoption, the couple want, somehow, find a foster child with characteristics similar to those that have a supposed biological child, in the second there is already greater openness. The legal procedures are considered positive with respect to the interdisciplinary team of action, but no complaints regarding the delay of issuance of the birth certificate with the name of the adoptive family, which affects access to formal education and medical care, as well cause constraints. Parents equate to biological and adopted son were quite involved with their children. We conclude that parents intensely experienced the whole process of adoption of their heart children.Item Fomento ao desenvolvimento social em áreas urbanas: o caso do Programa Ribeira Azul em Salvador(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2009-12-30) Cardoso, Maria de Fátima; Silva, Iracema Reimão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5704701054728240; Nascimento, Humberto Miranda do; Petrini, GiancarloThe many interventions in urban areas in degradation in any large metropolis have been the object of a number of studies and discussions, by means of which it is aimed to find ways of reducing the condition of both social and physical degradation, represented by slums or shanty towns. By intervening to recover areas informally occupied, several strategies of social promotion through integrated actions have been put into practice. Some of those stand out nationally, such as "Programa Ribeira Azul", implemented by the State of Bahia in the city of Salvador, in partnership with domestic and foreign organisms. This thesis describes the integrated Programme in question in Salvador, where one of the worst and most degrading forms of dwelling persists: houses on stilts. This work also highlights the power of people from such areas to overcome the difficulties of access to infrastructure and basic social services, people who strengthened their organizational bonds so as to create ways of minimizing their everyday problems; together with the authorities in charge, they develop projects to improve their quality of life. The experiences throughout and the forms of partnership which fortified the community organizations, as well as the process of social development in the area, are also presented.Item Juventude, sexualidade e inclusão social: jovens mães e o desafio de construir projetos de vida.(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2007-10) Alcântara, Miriã Alves Ramos de; Petrini, Giancarlo; Vieira, Gil André Peixinho; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem Mães usuárias de creche: histórias de vida e perspectivas para o futuro(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2007-10) Moreira, Lúcia Vaz de Campos; Petrini, Giancarlo; Moreira, Lúcia Vaz de Campos; Petrini, Giancarlo; Negrão, Alessandra Pellegrino; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem Mestrado em Ciências da Família – Ucsal, uma proposta nova(Universidade Catolica de Salvador, 2003-10) Petrini, Giancarlo; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem Mestrado em Ciências da Família – Ucsal, uma proposta nova(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2003-10) Petrini, Giancarlo; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem Mudanças sociais e mudanças familiares(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2004-10) Petrini, Giancarlo; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem O nascimento do pai: envolvimento paterno na gestação, no parto e aos três meses do bebê, no contexto de Salvador/Bahia(Universidade Catolica de Salvador, 2016-12-15) Fiterman, Hannah; Moreira, Lúcia Vaz de Campos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8863706292628331; Bastos, Ana Cecília de Sousa Bittencourt; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7406825750662792; Piccinini, Cesar Augusto; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4783350H2; Petrini, Giancarlo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1018186216920083; Nascimento, Marcos Antônio Ferreira do; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4709968T8Various family, cultural, and historical transformations in contemporary society have made the father's role in the family more complex and plural. With these changes happening, it becomes increasingly relevant to study paternal involvement in the transition to paternity. In this sense, the present doctoral thesis has as general objective to investigate, from the perspective of the father, the paternal involvement during the gestation, the delivery and the third month of the baby. To achieve this purpose, the longitudinal qualitative research method was used. 30 men who were about being parents for the first time took part in the research. They resided in Salvador (BA) and were addressed in a private gynecology and obstetrics clinic, located in a middle-upper class neighborhood of Salvador. For the data collection, three semi-structured interview scripts were built; containing open questions, each of them was applied in one of the following moments: (a) the last trimester of pregnancy of the first child; (B) one week after delivery; (C) three months of the baby. The research project was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of Maternity Climério de Oliveira, whose opinion number was 456,434. The interviews were recorded and held in a place of convenience for the parents and all signed the Term of Free and Informed Consent. The recordings were transcribed and categories were constructed from the answers obtained. Data were analyzed through qualitative content analysis. The main results were: paternal involvement in pregnancy occurred through the desire and affection of the father in relation to the imagined child and the good relationship with the baby's mother. Already in the delivery, the involvement was verified from the first time the father saw the son and he held him on his lap. Finally, when the baby was three months old, the involvement was shown in the different forms of interaction, in the quality of the involvement and in the time available to the child and in the responsibilities acquired when caring for the child. It was concluded that parents were generally involved with their children, both by the desire and in the practice they were quite involved, presenting a growing movement of involvement when considering the three moments of the data collection.Item Notas sobre a nupcialidade: uma nova abordagem do matrimônio e da família(Universidade Catolica de Salvador, 2003-10) Petrini, Giancarlo; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem Pais e filhos sob o domínio da biotecnologia: reprodução assistida e alteridade na família contemporânea(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2019-10-23) Lorenzo, Deivid Carvalho; Cavalcanti, Thais Novaes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Petrini, Giancarlo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Fornasier, Rafael Cerqueira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Barbosa, Camilo de Lélis Colani; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Ramos, Dalton Luiz de Paula; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Santa Bárbara Júnior, Danilo Antônio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/This thesis promotes a reflection on the impacts arising from the increase of assisted human reproduction techniques in the constitution of relations between parents, mothers and children in contemporary society. Proposes a phenomenological approach to its object of study, whichis the constitution of the bond of parenting. Focused on the phenomenological method, the present thesis, confronting the social data understood as into the filiation constituted by artificial procreation, aims to confront the universal understanding of the phenomenon of fatherhood, incident on the membership currently constituted, regardless of the intervention of the reproductive technologies. The paper uses document analysis, associating the review technique of integrative literature to the legislative and jurisprudential review emanating from Brazil and Portugal on the subject of assisted human reproduction. The thesis will depart on development of its reasoning, the intellectual apprehension of the social phenomenon of artificial breeding, taking it under the light of the articulation of the concepts of medicalization of life, the desire to have children, the social logic of consumer relations and the overvaluation of individual rights. Whereas the use of reproductive assisted unites subjects in the relational experience of parenting, the work proposes submission of family ties to the paradigm of otherness, using the intellectual legacy bequeathed by Edmund Husserl, Merleau-Ponty and Emanuel Levinas. The thesis does a foray into the meaning of family experience, aiming for find the essence of family ties, so that the guidelines for the universal understanding of such a phenomenon may be offered. Two concepts are articulated fundamental to the understanding of family life, which are the otherness and the familiar bond. The thesis makes a foray into the legal framework of artificial procreation by legal, administrative and jurisprudential norms operative in Brazil and Portugal. In the light of such regulation, the thesis points to the paradox that exists between regulations, intended to be given to the subject of artificial procreation and the today's conjuncture of the legal phenomenon, based on the premises outlined by the philosophy of alterity. The thesis shows that the management of humans assisted reproduction techniques today are the translation of a misunderstanding, currently in force, regarding the relations of alterity in which the ties of parenting, the first and most special stronghold responsible for providing constitution ethics of the person, subject of life in society.Item O papel da família na aprendizagem matemática entre estudantes de uma escola pública no município de Salvador, Bahia(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-02-26) Oliveira, Eliana Braga Garcia de; Santos, José Eduardo Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Petrini, Giancarlo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Vieira, Cristina Maria Coimbra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Carrera, Gilca Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; André, Sumaia Boaventura; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Cavalcanti, Vanessa Ribeiro Simon; http://lattes.cnpq.br/This research entitled: The role of the family in mathematical learning among students at a public school in the city of Salvador, Bahia. It aims to investigate the conceptions that parents / guardians of students in a public school have about the “world of numbers” and the possible interferences in the learning of Mathematics in Ensino Fundamental II Elementary School II. For this reflection, this research resorted the authors: Donati (2011) who introduces an approach within the family relationship; Petrini (2003, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010), Petrini e Alcântara (2015) that reveals family changes in the 21st century; Piaget (1977, 1983, 1998, 2002) who adds several contributions on the process of knowledge acquisition by the human being, particularly with regard to the child's development; D´Ambrósio (1986, 2001, 2002, 2005) and D’Ambrósio et al. (2004), who describes the relationship between Mathematics and mathematical education; finally, there is the contribution of Fiorentini (1995, 1996, 2013), who researches the trends in the teaching of the subject and its findings, concluding that different conceptual forms lead to different positions and decision-making in pedagogical action. The methodology developed is qualitative / descriptive / exploratory. Perspectives from theorists were applied Bogdan and Biklen (1994), with qualitative research in education; André (2012) with research in ethnographic education and Amado, Costa e Crusoé (2017) with the content analysis technique. In this way, field observations, semi-structured interviews with 12 (twelve) parents / guardians, 12 (twelve) students and two (02) teachers of the mathematical subject of the researched classes were used. It was evidenced in the research that the families' conceptions regarding mathematics, exerts a partial influence on the mathematical learning of their children. This influence was identified in two positive and negative poles. On the positive side, it demonstrated motivational aspects in students, awakening a taste for mathematical subject and learning for pre-adolescents and adolescents. In the negative, it highlighted demotivating aspects that make them believe in the inability to solve and understand the mathematical contents. It was noticed that the influence of conceptions was partial because they reveal other aspects that also contribute to the students' failure in mathematical learning, such as: unfavorable family environment, absence of didactic resources, teacher methodology, lack of routine for studies, among others.
