Abstract
The purpose of this monograph is to find out how management accounting can contribute for
better economic and financial performance in small and micro-enterprises. In your context
seeks to present the importance of management accounting in neighborhood grocery stores and
how its tools can be useful for the permanence of the microenterprise in the market. THE
methodology used was an exploratory research with a qualitative approach. using the case study
procedure, data collection took place through a questionnaire. Fur study, it was analyzed how
accounting tools can contribute to the management of microenterprise (neighborhood market.).
To support this discussion, the considerations by Crepaldi (2019), Padoveze (2010), Atkinson
(2012).
