Abstract

This article focuses on analyzing electronic commerce and how it is in line with the Consumer Protection Code. Accompanied by the rise of the virtual network and social media, commerce gains a new guise to which physical contact between consumer and entrepreneur is indispensable, generating virtual commerce and electronic contracts. This research is focused on observing the relationships of electronic commerce and whether consumers are effectively protected in this new category, which is: electronic commerce, and what are the consumer's rights in relation to virtual consumer Relationships. As work progresses, questions will be asked suchas: “What is the supplier's responsibility in electronic commerce? ", And" How does e-commerce legislation apply in Brazil? ", Which will be answered later. The article from the technical point of view has as its object the bibliographic research, since it was based on readings of books, articles and virtual research. From the point of view of addressing the problem, the research is qualitative, so the author influences and is influenced by the theme of the project, which he evaluates according to his interpretation.
