dc.description.abstractPrimary Care is the main entry point of the population for the public health service, offered in the Basic Units and Health Units of the family. For the management of the units is necessary to the figure of a manager who most of the time goes through difficulties. Objective: The objective of this research is to verify the challenges facing management in PHC and management practices in PHC service within the scope of the Unified Health System (SUS). Methodology: This is a literature review, of the type of integrative literature review, introduced in the area of management. Result: After studying, he observed that the management process goes through numerous difficulties such as false autonomy that managers have to solve the problems of the units, the great demand of users, lack of human resources, materials, inputs and information system. dc.description.resumoA Atenção Primária é a principal porta de entrada da população para o serviço público de saúde, ofertados nas Unidades Básicas e Unidades Saúde da família. Para o gerenciamento das unidades é necessário à figura de um gestor que na maioria das vezes passa por dificuldades. Objetivo: Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo de verificar, quais os desafios frente a gestão na APS e as práticas da gestão no serviço da APS no âmbito do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura, do tipo estudo de revisão integrativa de literatura, introduzido na área de gerenciamento. Resultado: Após os estudos observou que o processo de gerenciamento passa por inúmeras dificuldades como a falsa autonomia que os gestores têm que resolver os problemas das unidades, a grande demanda de usuários, falta de recursos humanos, matérias, insumos e alimentação do sistema de informação. Conclusão: Mesmo com inúmeras dificuldades na atenção primaria, e sendo notório que as dificuldades enfrentadas no gerenciamento observa o papel fundamental do gerentept_BR
