Therefore, caring for the elderly is challenging and requires knowledge, especially due to basic health needs. Objective: to analyze the strategies used by primary care to promote healthy aging. Methodology: Integrative literature review, in which the collection of articles was carried out between August and September 2021, whose databases were: Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (Lilacs), the Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (Medline) and the Database in Nursing (BDENF). This article aims to identify the nursing care provided to patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome. This is an integrative literature review, in which articles were searched in the Virtual Health Library databases, resulting in 11 articles to compose the study. Nursing care begins with risk classification, where data collection from the nursing process begins so that the professional assesses vital signs quickly and efficiently, performs anamnesis, physical examination, monitors, performs ECG , provides oxygen therapy and prescribed medications, always continuously evaluating chest pain, in addition to establishing a bond, considering the social, psychological and biological aspects of the patient. Thus, the study showed that the patient affected by Acute Coronary Syndrome needs emergency care and that nursing care must be based on scientific technical knowledge, in order to recognize and offer targeted, individualized and quality care to this patient.Item Fatores de risco que contribuem para ocorrência de pneumonia em pacientes com COVID-19(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-12-17) Santos, Ieda Lino; Vidal, Daniela Barbosa Neiva; http://lattes.cnpq.br; Mendes, Fernanda Cardeal; http://lattes.cnpq.brIntroduction: In December 2019 in China, a new epidemic begins with a new virus of SARS- CoV-2, a new strain of the coronavirus family, covid-19, which is responsible for the worldwide pandemic, may favor serious conditions, such as pneumonia, due to the complication of the disease. The hospital-home transition care aims to effectively maintain the continuity of home care. When well implemented, it positively interferes with the continuity of treatment, as it offers the necessary support to the elderly and their families, avoiding decompensation, adverse events and readmissions. The aim of this study was to analyze the hospital-home transition care practiced by nurses to elderly people as available in the scientific literature. An integrative literature review was carried out between the months of February and March 20212020, through searches in scientific databases using pre-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Twelve articles were found and analyzed through exhaustive reading of the content, in order to apprehend the authors' idea on the subject. Great challenges were found to align the work of nursing professionals, who lack information, with regard to the execution and resources that enable the practice of transitional care. The consequence of these mishaps is insecurity: nurses do not find security to perform their functions with regard to the transition of care, family members feel neglected and unprepared to provide care at home and elderly people experience total helplessness. It is concluded that transition care is performed incompletely and without assistance from nursing professionals. It is necessary that transition care is more explored and valued by this professional category, in order to offer more security to the elderly and family members who experience this moment.Item Atuação da enfermagem na assistência à saúde no sistema penal brasileiro(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-06-11) Teles, Eduardo Carvalho; Guimarães, Frank Evilácio de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br; Mendes, Fernanda Cardeal; http://lattes.cnpq.br; Rosa, Randson Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.brObjective: To describe the role of the nursing team in the Brazilian prison system.
