Abstract

This study will discuss the Housing Policy, especially the National Rural Housing Program - PNHR, part of Minha Casa, Minha Vida. The PNHR was created by the Federal Government through Law 11.977 / 2009 and aims to enable family farmers, rural workers and members of traditional communities, such as quilombolas, access to decent housing. The aim of this paper is to identify social changes from the implementation of the National Rural Housing Program in the quilombola community of Entre Rios. This is a qualitative research, the methodological course consisted of the literature review, the use of interview technique and document analysis. Through the review of the bibliography raised relevant material on the issue question seeking to cover the main authors related to the topic.Semi-structured interviews were, conducted with 22 residents of the quilombola community of Entre Rios who were beneficiaries of the National Rural Housing Program. The survey results reveal that Social, Work as a basic component of housing programs is fundamental to community development and the improvement of the beneficiaries' quality of life. In addition the research reveals changes in the daily lives of families from the architectural pattern of new housing, however the traditional ways of life of quilombola families remained.
