The family and the school are institutions responsible for the performance of individuals in training. This study focuses on ways of solving conflicts involving adolescents who commit infractional acts and their families, through the RJ model. In order to analyze the participation of the family in restorative juvenile justice experiences in the North and Northeast regions, a combination of methods was divided into three interdependent phases. The first phase consisted of an exploratory study carried out between August 2015 and June 2016. The theoretical-practical implementation of "Restorative Justice" in Brazil was promoted and the restorative justice projects in the regions surveyed were identified. The questionnaire was applied with social actors involved in restorative justice projects. The questionnaire was applied with social actors involved in restorative justice projects. Twenty-nine experiences were identified in the N and NE, nineteen in the field of childhood and youth, involving Judiciary, Executive Branch, Defenders, Public Ministry, Universities, schools, OAB, NGOs and Reference Centers in Social Assistance. For the most part, the projects include the family through the restorative circles, with psychosocial support and receive guidance on compliance with the socioeducational measure (MSE). Those responsible for adolescents are encouraged to participate in restorative practices from the initial stage of investigation of the infraction until the execution of the SEM. The analysis of the questionnaires evokes the repercussion of the inclusion of the family in the process, besides contributing to the definition of the emblematic experience to be investigated in depth. The chosen project was situated at child and youth court of the municipality of Santarém, in western Pará. This project started in 2012, as a result of the interinstitutional partnership between the Pará State Court of Justice and the Federal University of Western Pará. The experience shows that the participation of the family in restorative circles encourages youth protagonism, the strengthening of family ties and the exercise of citizenship. However, auxiliary strategies of a public nature are still needed to facilitate the access of family members, especially those adolescents with total or partial restraint of freedom, creating adequate spaces for the exercise of care and the generation of affection.Item Família e moradia: um estudo sobre a “nova” vida dos beneficiários do Programa Minha Casa Minha Vida(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2018-08-30) Castro, Carla Ferreira de; Carrera, Gilca Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5822335780952423; Costa, Lívia Alessandra Fialho da; Delgado, Josimara AparecidaThis research has as object of study the Family in social vulnerability and the dwell-ing. Its main objective is to understand how the new, post-occupied housing units of the Caminho do Mar I residential complex located in Barra do Jacuípe, Camaçari / BA, affected the social dynamics of the beneficiary families of the Minha Casa Minha Vida Program. We consider housing as a private, dynamic space, privileged for the coexistence of families in which diverse ways of life are shared, apprehended and resignified. The theoretical framework is based on the theoretical literature that discusses the thematic, among them Sarti (2007), Maricato (2001), Kowarick (1993), Carvalho and Almeida (2003), Pereira-Pereira (2006), Bonduck Lefebvre (2006), Acosta and Vitale (2003), Mioto, Campos and Carloto (2015), in addition to the 1988 Federal Constitution highlighting articles 182 and 183; Law No. 9, 887 / 2009, which provides for the My House My Life Program, the National System of Housing of Social Interest (SNHIS) - Law 11, 124 / 2005 and the National Housing Policy. The methodology used was-qualitative and descriptive through field and bibliographic research. The subjects of the investigation were the dwellers / beneficiaries of the housing units of the aforementioned set. The instruments used for data collection consisted of documentary survey of primary and secondary sources, participant observation and the semi-structured individual interview. As a constitutionally guaranteed right, housing, besides being one of the determining factors for reproduction of the workforce, is also decisive for human interaction in the construction of values and affectivities.Item Filho (é) da mãe (?): famílias monoparentais femininas no contexto de uma escola pública em Salvador-Ba(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-07-23) Amorim, Francismare Oliveira de; Carrera, Gilca Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Cruz, Izaura Santiago da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Santos, José Eduardo Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/The objects of this dissertation are female single-parent families, in the context of a public school in Salvador-Ba. Our general goal was to investigate the single parenthood of women-mothers in a territory of vulnerabilities such as the Subúrbio Ferroviário area, in Salvador. Our specific objectives were: i) to identify the family configurations of students enrolled in the afternoon shift at Colégio Estadual Clériston Andrade; ii) to describe the familiar configurations of these students, and iii) to investigate the idiosyncrasies of motherhood experienced by women-mothers from single-parent families in a territory of vulnerabilities such as the Subúrbio Ferroviário of Salvador. This is a quali-quantitative and exploratory case study, in a ethnosociological perspective; the epistemological construction is based on the ecology of knowledges, whose approach is predominantly forged in the black feminist epistemology, but also dialogues with the marxist feminism of Heleieth Saffioti. The discussions were guided by: Sueli Carneiro, bell hooks, Patrícia Collins, Angela Davis, Lélia Gonzalez, Beatriz Nascimento, Oyèrónkẹ Oyěwùmí, Ochy Curiel, Boaventura de Sousa Santos, Walter Mignolo, Joaze Bernardino-Costa, Nelson Maldonado-Torres and Ramón Grosfoguel. We chose bibliographic research and field research as investigation techniques. Data collection took place through informal contacts with women-mothers, a socio-educational profile questionnaire used by the investigated educational institution, as well as my point of view (outsider within) as a researcher and black woman from the periphery. It should be noted that, due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, we could not use the data collection technique that would allow us the build life narratives for the subjects of this research. The women-mothers of single-parent families reflected that the serious health, political and economic crisis in the country has a greater impact on the black, poor, peripheral population, mostly women, confirming that social and racial inequalities in Brazil are grounded in a matrix of colonial, patriarchal, and classist intersectional oppression. The departure from school imposed by the new coronavirus brought new forms of interaction and, concomitantly, confirmed its physical importance as a support network for these families. Sons and daughters 'are from the mother', because they are the main providers of care and economic resources, as evidenced by the predominant number of family configurations that are specifically single-parent females. The diversity of family configurations found demonstrates that these children and adolescents belong to grandparents, uncles/aunts, cousins, neighborhood, school, community, since these bonds are, in addition to bonds of solidarity, love, friendship, survival strategies and, why not, resistance to a State that denies them from their rights, there are insufficient and/or ineffective social assistance policies.Item Me chame pelo meu nome: o nome civil e o direito à identidade(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-03-23) Rocha, Samara Borges Fernandes; Lorenzo, Deivid Carvalho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Vargas, Hilda Ledoux; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Carrera, Gilca Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/The legal name represents the instrument used to designate and individualize people, whether considered alone or in connection with the family to which they belong. Through the evolution of the concept of State, the legal name came to be regulated, shaping its constitution, origin, maintenance, as well as, in some exceptional circumstances, ways of changing it. This research seeks to discuss the name’s immutability in the circumstance of subjective non-identification to the first name given by the family. To this end, it sought to identify national law that regulates the legal name and the possibilities for its changing; relate interdisciplinary aspects that involve the right to a name and the right to identity; observe circumstances that generate subjective non-identification through case studies. A literature review was carried out on legal aspects of the legal name and the right to identity, and an exploratory, qualitative study of semi-structured interviews with people who demonstrated dissatisfaction with their given name and with officers from Civil Law of Natural Persons Registries in the exercise of their activity. The results revealed the understanding of the name as a sign of human individuality, as well as its public aspect before the State, as the state entity set limits and rules for its exercise; the importance of knowledge of the law regarding the possibilities of changing the given name; the limits established by law for judicial change; the given name change in the registry office, and the position of the registry officers who defended the provision of more options for the extrajudicial change. Moreover, the research demonstrated the pursuit for the construction of identity through processes of changing the given name and factors that hindered the subjective identification of the interviewees to the names given to them. Among these factors, there are parents disagreeing about the name chosen at the time of registration, difficulty with the spelling of the names chosen, and late registrations giving different names to what had previously been indicated. And finally, the path of provocation to the State to manifest itself on issues related to the name of the natural person, primarily guided by the right to the personal identity of each individual, in order to guarantee the prerogative of adequacy of the name to the identity of the subject of right. This work contributed to a greater understanding of the legal name in addition to its legal aspects and the path taken by the human being to identify himself with the given name, which allowed an analysis of contemporary themes, such as the right to identity, human dignity, personality rights, and family contexts.Item O papel da família na aprendizagem matemática entre estudantes de uma escola pública no município de Salvador, Bahia(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-02-26) Oliveira, Eliana Braga Garcia de; Santos, José Eduardo Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Petrini, Giancarlo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Vieira, Cristina Maria Coimbra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Carrera, Gilca Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; André, Sumaia Boaventura; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Cavalcanti, Vanessa Ribeiro Simon; http://lattes.cnpq.br/This research entitled: The role of the family in mathematical learning among students at a public school in the city of Salvador, Bahia. It aims to investigate the conceptions that parents / guardians of students in a public school have about the “world of numbers” and the possible interferences in the learning of Mathematics in Ensino Fundamental II Elementary School II. For this reflection, this research resorted the authors: Donati (2011) who introduces an approach within the family relationship; Petrini (2003, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010), Petrini e Alcântara (2015) that reveals family changes in the 21st century; Piaget (1977, 1983, 1998, 2002) who adds several contributions on the process of knowledge acquisition by the human being, particularly with regard to the child's development; D´Ambrósio (1986, 2001, 2002, 2005) and D’Ambrósio et al. (2004), who describes the relationship between Mathematics and mathematical education; finally, there is the contribution of Fiorentini (1995, 1996, 2013), who researches the trends in the teaching of the subject and its findings, concluding that different conceptual forms lead to different positions and decision-making in pedagogical action. The methodology developed is qualitative / descriptive / exploratory. Perspectives from theorists were applied Bogdan and Biklen (1994), with qualitative research in education; André (2012) with research in ethnographic education and Amado, Costa e Crusoé (2017) with the content analysis technique. In this way, field observations, semi-structured interviews with 12 (twelve) parents / guardians, 12 (twelve) students and two (02) teachers of the mathematical subject of the researched classes were used. It was evidenced in the research that the families' conceptions regarding mathematics, exerts a partial influence on the mathematical learning of their children. This influence was identified in two positive and negative poles. On the positive side, it demonstrated motivational aspects in students, awakening a taste for mathematical subject and learning for pre-adolescents and adolescents. In the negative, it highlighted demotivating aspects that make them believe in the inability to solve and understand the mathematical contents. It was noticed that the influence of conceptions was partial because they reveal other aspects that also contribute to the students' failure in mathematical learning, such as: unfavorable family environment, absence of didactic resources, teacher methodology, lack of routine for studies, among others.Item A práxis educativa da medida socioeducativa de internação(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2003-10) Carrera, Gilca Oliveira; UCSAL, Universidade Católica do SalvadorItem Trabalhadoras rurais e empoderamento: relações conjugais e convívio familiar de mulheres líderes de sindicato(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2020-07-30) Nascimento, Telma Regina Batista; Castro, Mary Garcia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Costa, Lívia Alessandra Fialho da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Santos, Valdineia Oliveira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Marques, Zoraya M. O.; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Fortes, Isaura Santana; http://lattes.cnpq.br; Carrera, Gilca Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.brThe thesis starts from the autobiography about the possibility of establishing a feedback relation between personal dimension and epistemological dimension typical of the problematic that involved this research, translated by the experience of female rural workers. By circulating and producing knowledge on public life plan of Sindicato dos Trabalhadores e Agricultores Familiares de Serrinha (Sintraf), this women were constituted by ‘struggle’. Struggle where knowledge and ways of empowerment emerged and also motivated us to investigate in which action they covered the relations sex/gender in the Family, within the marriage/conjugality contract. Aspect from which the guiding questions of the investigation arose: What features could we consider as empowerment or not of the female rural workers heading the management of Sintraf Serrinha? In case of such features exist, what knowledges would be involved for them? What are the conditions for this knowledge to have collaborated or not for the empowerment of these female workers within the scope of the marriage/conjugality contract? Such questions were supported on the following aim: to develop a study about the knowledge related to the possible empowerment of female rural workers in Sintraf Serrinha’s management; analysing how the divisions of power were configured in the private sphere and investigating whether this knowledge collaborated or not for the empowerment of these workers within the scope of the marriage/conjugality contract. In order to theoretically circumscribe this phenomenon, we seek for an interdisciplinary approach to the Sisal Territory/municipality of Serrinha-Ba and the public-private processes involved in the knowledge and empowerment achieved by female rural workers. Therefore, we call upon authors as Freire (1987), Pateman (1993), Batliwala (1997), Léon (2001), Paludo (2001), Humberto Nascimento (2003), Patel (2005), Telma Nascimento (2009), Coelho Neto (2013), among others. Regarding the methodological point of view, we decided for the qualitative approach, research field with inspiration in ethnoresearch; using the survey and semi-structured interview as a mean to collect information. In addition, based on the research findings, we defend the thesis that the empowerment achieved by these women in the public space of Sintraf Serrinha was replicated in the private space of the family and the marriage/conjugality contract. This empowerment carried the absolutely revolutionary content of knowledge/know-how. It was through the knowledge/know-how that these women recognized themselves in their gender identity, as a family farming and as an individual of rights. It was through the knowledge/know-how that they move ahead individually and collectively to fight against domestic violence and public policies for health. It was through the knowledge/know-how that they affirmed within the family, their individual and collective right to occupy and expand their political skills in the public space.Item Trabalho & maternidade: há conflito para a profissional de saúde? realidade de profissionais de saúde de hospitais públicos da Bahia(Universidade Catolica de Salvador, 2017-09-28) Martins, Patrícia Freitas; Lima, Isabel Maria Sampaio Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4133901855237809; Spindola, Thelma; Aquino, Estela Maria Motta Lima Leão de; Carrera, Gilca Oliveira; Carvalho, Rosely Cabral deNowadays, women are getting more and present in the working world. Maternity is no longer their only identity. Some women express their non-adherence to the maternity project, even though the majority still wants it. To develop a professional project, to have a profession, an income and autonomy are as important to them as the choice of having children. Women are developing a conciliation procedure of the productive and the reproductive work. Women who are healthcare professionals, among others, face this reality. In the healthcare field, and especially in hospitals, it is possible to find specific working conditions as shifts of 12 and 24 hours, including holidays, weekends and special dates, excessive service demand, people in crisis and suffering. This particular set of circumstances poses more challenges for the conciliation between labor activities and motherhood. This research discusses how professional health care women who work in the emergency service of public hospitals experience the conciliation procedure between work and maternity. The general objective was to analyze the conciliation dynamic of the healthcare work and maternity among emergency professionals of public Bahian hospitals. The specific objectives were: analyze the working conditions of the healthcare professionals in public emergency rooms and their family context; unveil the strategies used by them to deal with emergency work and maternity; identify the subjective place occupied by these professionals as workers, mothers and women between healthcare work and maternity. The quantitative method was chosen for this research, developing interviews with healthcare professionals acting in the emergency assistance of public hospitals for a period equal or superior to a year, and mothers of small children. The responses were analyzed by the content analysis technique The participants authorized the interviews through a free and informed consent, with a previous acceptance document from two hospitals, one in the interior of the state and one in the capital. All ethical requirements were observed. The results are presented in the form of articles, the first of them being a literature review on maternity postponing and its relation to a fall in the fertility rate. The articles that followed were built from the guiding questions and the content of the interviews. One is about the strategies of conciliation between work in the emergency room and maternity. Other article discusses how these women cope with maternity in a daily basis. The following article deals with the participation of husbands\partners in the conciliation of the productive and the reproductive work and the last article analyzes the support network used by the women. In the conclusion, it was possible to verify the difficulties in the conciliation exercise, weather due to working conditions and working organization in hospitals that are still very rigid and not yet properly adapted to the needs of women or to the dissatisfaction with the little participation of the spouses. The spouses insist in the discourse of the domestic care of house and children as a feminine role, fruit of the sexual division of work, present in the Brazilian context. It was also possible to identify the guilt felt by the women for being absent while longing to spend more time with their children, being responsible for the feeding, education and hygiene care, counting with the support of some spouses, their mothers, some grandmothers and other family women, hiring house maids, not using day care institutions and other equipment disposed by public policies. The study concludes that more support for the feminist movements should be given, in the defense of a new labor division, with women and men in equal condition in both productive and reproductive labor environments. Finally, the relevance and actuality of the debate about public hospitals working conditions stands out, since it is essentially performed by women in a precarious environment.Item A transição do 5º para o 6º ano numa escola pública municipal de Salvador-Ba: dificuldades dos estudantes, contribuições familiares e apoio escolar(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2020-11-11) Rios, Clara Maria Almeida; Fornasier, Rafael Cerqueira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Petrini, Giancarlo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Carneiro, Suzana Filizola Brasiliense; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Nonato, Emanuel do Rosário Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Carrera, Gilca Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Santos, José Eduardo Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/This work is a descriptive qualitative study, which focuses its attention on the transition phase from the 5th to the 6th grade, focusing on the students' voices, about their difficulties, family contributions and school support, in this phase of education. cycle change, in the context of a public-school system in Salvador. The question is: how are family and school educational practices associated with the process of adaptation and school performance of students in the transition phase from 5th to 6th grade? The general objective translates into: analyzing students' difficulties and the impacts of family educational practices and school practices, in the process of adaptation and school performance of students, in this transition phase from the 5th to the 6th year of schooling. This objective is divided into five specific objectives, which are: a) to understand how interpersonal relationships between families, students and teachers are processed in this phase of school transition; b) identify which students' difficulties and which family and school actions interfere and favor the process of adaptation and school performance of these students; c) analyze the conceptions and perceptions of students about their difficulties and what are the contributions of family and school institution in this phase; d) to know the conceptions, perceptions and actions of the principal, the pedagogical coordinator and the teachers in relation to the process of adaptation, teaching and learning of students in this transition phase; e) build knowledge and signal possible clues of family and school actions to favor the adaptation and good school performance of students in this specific moment of schooling. From this perspective, the research had as its object of study the personal experiences lived by students in the transition phase from 5th to 6th grade, in relation to family educational practices and school practices. The theoretical foundation consists of an interdisciplinary approach, supported by the various social and human sciences, especially the theorists who talk about family and education in contemporary times, about phases of human development and transitions, such as: Morin (2000); Schaff (2001); Giddens (1993, 2017); Bourdieu (1993); Donati (2008, 2013); Petrini (2003, 2004, 2005, 2016); Bauman (2004); Fornasier (2016, 2018); Bronfenbrenner (2011); Vigotski (2000,2010); Valsiner (2012); Zittoun (2004, 2005, 2007); among others. Its empirical field is a school of the Municipal Education Network of Salvador, in which operates the Elementary School II, segment of interest of the study to be carried out. The research has 32 participants, comprising 10 students of the 6th grade, 10 parents / guardians, 10 teachers, 01 Pedagogical Coordinator and 01 Principal. As research instruments, we used observations in locum and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis focuses on four groups: students (1st group), parents / guardians of students (2nd group), teachers (3rd group) and management team (4th group). As main results we realize that students experience difficulties during the school transition process, despite having family and school support. The research contributed to a better interpretation and understanding about the transition phase from the 5th to the 6th grade, in order to guide and suggest family and school procedures and actions capable of facilitating the adaptation process and the students' good performance during the referred change of school cycle.Item Trocando as lentes do Ministério Público: a violência doméstica contra a mulher na perspectiva das práticas restaurativas(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2020-03-31) Neves, Alex Santana; Lima, Isabel Maria Sampaio Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Carrera, Gilca Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Santos, Juliana Pinheiro Damasceno e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/The present study investigates how Restorative Justice can contribute to the work of members of the Brazilian Public Ministry who deal with domestic violence against women. In addition to its role as holder of public criminal action in the Accusatory System, it cannot neglect its natural profile as an institution, primarily concerned with safeguarding society and defending its interests. The evident dissatisfaction with the justice system, the growing increase in domestic violence against women, prison overcrowding and the fragility of the community sense lead to the need of a reassessment of the mission of the Public Prosecutor in facing this type of crime, traditionally conceived under the conception of retributive justice, as a mere accuser.
