Abstract
The present article has as main objective the study of the law no
5.082/2016 through the reality of the Brazilian football clubs, with the scope of
demonstrating the viability of the transformation of the club-company association, the
transforming aspects and the main impacts that would cause in the clubs that would
make this change. It takes into account the financial situation of the clubs and the
feasibility of the practice of change, through tax incentives and the succession of
obligations imposed by the project. Thus, through bibliographic, documentary and
data research, it is urgent to bring up a real possibility of transformation, the problems
to be faced and the state role in the transformation.
