Abstract
The domestic and family violence has the Maria da Penha Law as a mechanism to combat violence against women. The present study took place in the District of Camaçari-BA, more precisely in the Specialized Police Station for Assistance to Women (DEAM). The objective of this work was to verify, in the DEAM in the Camaçari district, the amount of emergency protective measures represented and the percentage of new physical violence practiced against the same victims. The field research was carried out in 2019, through representations and percentages of new non-compliance with these measures. Among the results obtained, it was noted about 1,582 general records and of these, 526 of protective measures, 251 of bodily injury and 186 of de facto routes. Among the total, 34 occurrences were of new investigations of non-compliance with the decision involving all types of violence. The data provided in the interview did not correspond in full with the official data of the research. Domestic and family violence increases more and more, instead of ceasing.
