By presenting a range of characteristics related to behavior, language and communication that vary in severity levels, the impacts arising from the diagnosis of ASD provoke a series of feelings and reactions that directly interfere in the diagnosed individual's quality of life, especially when deals with mild autism in which symptoms are often confused with behaviors commonly attributed to typically developing children. Along with this, we observe the commitment generated by the late diagnosis or its absence for the interventions necessary for the development of the autistic person. Based on a psychopedagogical approach, this qualitative bibliographical research aims to review studies on the impacts of autism diagnosis in mild cases of ASD.Item Inclusão do aluno com transtorno do espectro autista (TEA) na educação infantil de escolas particulares regulares(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2020-06-20) Neves, Amanda Queiroz das; Nascimento, Lucy Mary da Cunha; Fonseca, Lázaro Emanuel Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/The present study has as its theme "The school inclusion of children with autism in early childhood education in regular private schools". The inclusion of the autistic student requires the committed work of all professionals involved in education and especially the dedication and commitment of their families. Inclusive schooling is an important factor in the social relationship and skills development of these students. Throughout the text we will raise the main problems that need to be researched and discussed and also the positive points in the schooling of autistic students with pedagogical and psycho-pedagogical support. In order to fulfill these objectives, we carry out observations, descriptive searches and bibliographic sources of literature on the topic. Studying autism and inclusion contributes to expanding knowledge in the area, however it is necessary to train basic education professionals in a perspective of school inclusion. The education of autistic children includes many social, visual, behavioral and routine skills. All strategies are fundamental for the autistic child to grow cognitively and socially, in addition to raising the psychological well-being of the child and the family.
