Item Direito à cidade como lugar de Festa: afetos engajados no Parque Augusta, em São Paulo/SP, e no Parque em Rede Pedra de Xangô, em Salvador/BA(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2022-03-30) Nicola, Alexandra de; Oliveira, Liana Silvia de Viveiros e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Jesus, Liliane Vasconcelos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Cruz, Leandro de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/This research addresses the right to the city in the Party dimension, as conceived by Henri Lefebvre (2001), the city being built by discontinuities and ruptures, by convergence and divergences of groups that are rivals in their love for it in the dispute of agendas that move between their use value and their exchange value. The Party, with a capital P, as the author puts it, implies the use, enjoyment, and appropriation of the city in its fullness, which thus provides affective and political relations in cultural practices as an expression of urban life. And the Party, here, is a strategy of struggle and resistance in defense of public spaces for meeting, leisure, contemplation, religious practices, preservation of material and symbolic values and political dispute: the party for the Party. Like large laboratories, the Brazilian cities of São Paulo (State of São Paulo) and Salvador (State of Bahia) presented two cases of struggle and resistance movements that transformed public and private spaces into municipal parks – Parque Augusta and Parque em Rede Pedra de Xangô, respectively –, demonstrating that the right to the city, in current times, present urban reform imperatives that go far beyond the demand for housing and urban services. The research presents a snapshot of how affective and political engagements took place to conquer public spaces, having Lawrence Grossberg’s (2012) notion of affection as a central theoretical reference, a constitutive force of articulation of desires and transformative forces. Through bibliographic research and interviews, maps of importance and affections were prepared with a view to understanding what mobilized the actors to engage. Social mobilization is presented based on the theory of José Bernardo Toro (2005), intertwined with the discussion of rationality and emotions by Humberto Maturana (1997). Finally, the struggle and resistance movements and the disputes evidenced are discussed from the perspective of Viveiros (2020), by transversal axes that bring the right to the city in the relationship between scales and mutual constitution of civil society and the State from interactions, articulations, convergences, divergences, and conflicts. This view is also made through categories that analyze the formation and articulation of agents; the construction of political ethical principles and the formation of collective identities; the arenas and disputes of agendas; and the lexicon dispute in urban politics. The results show that the shared imagination of a totally green park without buildings and overcoming racism and religious intolerance ancewith a sacred The Afro-Brazilian space being demarcated and preserved has become reality through the articulation of affections and desires factors who, in turn, putthem in articulation with the close and distantorder, exercise their rights to the city and the Party.Item Impacto da facultatividade do pagamento da contribuição sindical na representação coletiva dos trabalhadores do Comércio de Salvador/Ba(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-09-30) Cavalcante, Maria Zelia Lima; Portella, André Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Oliveira, Murilo Carvalho Sampaio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Tinôco, Moacir Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/This dissertation addresses the issues about the optionality of union contribution. Its general objective was to analyze the impact of the optional payment of union dues on the collective representation of trade workers in Salvador / BA, brought about with a 2017 Labor Reform. This reform brought about a change in the form of payment of union dues by the worker. This research is disabled as qualitative and exploratory. Initially, data was collected on scientific search platform for theoretical foundation, as well as a search on official websites of the Ministry of Labor and unions. Data were also collected in semi-structured unrelated workers with union representatives of Salvador trade workers and the application of structured questionnaires with Salvador trade workers. A data analysis was performed to provide opportunities for debates and reflections relevant to the topic at hand. From the research carried out, it became clear that unions act as an intermediary between capital and labor and have constitutional importance as an institution that protects workers' rights. It was also found that the 2017 labor reform had consequences for collective representation of workers, as the main source of funding for the union has always been the union contribution and with the reform, payment became optional, raising unions to a deficit in your monthly income. On the other hand, there are no effective policies to encourage membership promoted by the union, which weakens the union and fights for the fulfillment of its functions as a representative of the collective, which leads to a reflection on the urgency of measures and coordination to ensure the unions more affiliations and, consequently, more revenue so that the search for improvements is achieved.Item Percepção ambiental de professores de enfermagem da UCSal: reflexões sobre o conhecimento, à partir de uma pesquisa de opinião(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-09-29) Almeida, Daniele Santos de; Peres, Marcelo César Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Benati, Kátia Regina; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Oliveira, Maria de Fátima Souza dos Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/Environmental perception is understood as an awareness of the environment by man. Each individual perceives, reacts and responds differently to actions on the environment, and the study of environmental perception is of fundamental importance to better understand the interrelationship between man and the environment. The following research had as main interest to analyze the environmental perception of nursing teachers and whether it achieves the connection with the stimulation of an environmental awareness in students. This is a qualitative study, of the exploratory type with professors from the Faculty of Nursing being excluded those who are away for any reason from their function. The study was carried out in a private philanthropic university located in the city of Salvador/BA. Environmental perception goes beyond the reductionist concept, focused only on biological order and epidemiological factors; the conceptions brought by teachers establish a strong connection between environmental factors and health and disease constraints, but the environmental/ecological issue is still incipient, both in discourse and practice. It is necessary to qualify and stimulate professionals to plan and intervene in the environmental reality, in conservation, preservation, prevention and mitigation the negative effects of the environment on human life. Only in this way, it is possible to sustain an integral and integrative care, which goes beyond the physical dimension.Item As oportunidades de melhoria nos processos operacionais em Cooperativas de Catadores de Materiais Recicláveis: estudo de caso(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-04-09) Guimarães, Lís Quarantini de Souza; Marchi, Cristina Maria Dacach Fernandez; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Benati, Kátia Regina; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; São Mateus, Maria do Socorro Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/Urban solid waste is a current problem which has been mitigated by recyclable material collectors who have found subsistence in it. Thus, entrepreneurial action emerged, called social entrepreneurship, which later these workers came together and formed cooperatives of recyclable material collectors. The work carried out by the cooperatives is crucial for this waste generated by the production of goods to return to the value chain. However, due to the very condition of poverty, from which these cooperatives arise, they face many difficulties, especially with regard to their operational processes. This research arises from the researcher's desire, even in a complex and precarious scenario, to identify opportunities for improvement in operational processes in recyclable material collectors' cooperatives so that they continue to exist and perform their noble work. This dissertation was divided into two articles: the first one of them refers to a bibliographic review to search for works in the literature whose objective has been to propose opportunities for improving operational processes in Recyclable Material Collectors' Cooperatives (CCMR) which, consequently , contribute to the development of the business; the second article was prepared based on the results of the case study at the Cooperative for Selective Collection, Plastic Processing and Environmental Protection (Camapet), whose objectives were to identify and analyze the operational processes from the perspective of Quality Management, and to propose an interaction map of business processes to improve the relationship between cooperatives and stakeholders in sustainable business. With the results, it was realized that the operational processes within the cooperative are linked to input (partners/suppliers) and output (customers) waste, that is, external aspects. The perspective of Sustainable Entrepreneurship can be an opportunity to seal a link and make the reverse flow viable. The results revealed that, in order to improve the operational processes, it is necessary the interaction with the management and support processes as they corroborate the control and functionality of the operations, in addition to actions that improve the selection of the supplier to add value to the customer (industries that buy recyclable materials).Item Pontos de Entrega Voluntária (PEVs): contribuições para as Cooperativas de Catadores de Materiais Recicláveis de Salvador(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-04-16) Santana, Joilson Santos; Marchi, Cristina Maria Dacach Fernandez; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Peres, Marcelo César Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Machado, Miriam de Fátima Carvalho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/This research is the result of the walk of a collector of recyclable materials from the city of Salvador and a socio-environmental activist in his construction as a researcher who, through bridges, exchanges of knowledge, a lot of effort and dedication, joined the master's degree with the desire to contribute even more with the development of the work of the Recyclable Material Collectors' Cooperatives (CCMR). The general objective of this research is to investigate the contribution of Voluntary Delivery Points (PEVs) to the CCMR of Salvador, and its specific objectives are descriptive, through a narrative review of literature and qualiquantitative, investigative and exploratory nature, through questionnaires and semies- tructured interviews. Therefore, we sought to interrelate the findings and verify the contributions of the PEVs to these enterprises based on the opinion of the managers of Cooperes and Cooperlix, cooperatives there are partners of the Selective Collection Program (PCS) of Salvador. It is important to highlight that, during the execution of this research, adjustments and changes were made in the objectives defined, from the exchanges with colleagues and professors during the classes, and from the meetings in the Gamdes/UCSAL research group, which made it possible to improve the trajectory of this study. Thus, two chapters are presented in this master's thesis represented by two scientific articles: the first one aimed at investigating how citizens' actions, existing standards and public equipment made available by the State for the disposal of solid waste contribute to the strengthening of the work of CCMR, aiming to propose a new flowchart of the PCS of Salvador, to contribute to improving the work of these enterprises; the second article is a study to identify the contributions of the PEVs to the CCMR of Salvador based on the opinion of the managers of two enterprises that receive the materials of these PEVs.Item Educação ambiental e sustentabilidade: práticas pedagógicas no ensino fundamental(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-03-29) Pereira, Rosinei Teixeira de Araújo; Benati, Kátia Regina; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Silva, Maina Pirajá; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Peres, Marcelo Cesar Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/This research aimed to analyze the extent to which the Pedagogical Practices developed by different disciplines of Elementary Education in the Biodiversity Research Center of Colégio Militar de Salvador awaken in the students a conscious environmental posture. Information was sought about the challenges encountered when working with Pedagogical Practices with themes related to the environmental sphere in schools, the importance of alternative spaces in the school environment for the study of Environmental Education and whether this knowledge related to the theme referred to forms conscious and active citizens in society to undertake sustainable actions. The research methodology was of the exploratory documentary type, in order to highlight the challenges faced by the institutions regarding the effectiveness of Pedagogical Practices. Among the results found in greater focus, there was little insertion of interdisciplinarity and transversality. For the other researches involved in this study, a descriptive methodology was used, with technical case study procedures and qualitative and quantitative approaches, with the application of an interview and semi-structured questionnaire and the production of free design and texts with topics related to the pertinence of conscious consumption for the protection of our planet. For this data collection, there was a need to make a parameter with students - who experienced classes at the Biodiversity Research Center -, which are the College tickets in the year 2019, and those who did not experience classes in the space in question, tickets in the year 2020, which did not have face- to-face classes due to the pandemic caused by the covid-19. As a result, a higher percentage of awakening from a conscious environmental posture was observed for students who had classes in the alternative space, with experiences and experiences of educational actions with an environmental focus. It was also observed that the textual productions and the imagery records using the environmental theme, were relevant for the analysis of the creativity, reflection and environmental awareness of the students. The entire research was of an investigative nature, presented in the form of three articles. In the first, the challenges faced by the School in applying Pedagogical Practices of Environmental Education on the part of the teachers are reported. In the second, which has students participating in the 7th year of elementary school, it was assessed whether alternative spaces within the school environment can contribute to Pedagogical Practices in Environmental Education. And, in the third, with the same audience of students and a certain number of teachers, where it was analyzed whether their knowledge in relation to the environmental and sustainability issues form conscious and active citizens in society to develop sustainable actions to improve the environment.Item Responsabilidade e cuidado: um novo ethos para uma sociedade biocentrada(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2021-03-31) Lima, Fátima Carmelo Balthazar da Silveira; Porciuncula, Débora Carol Luz da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Ferriz, José Luis Sepúlveda; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Alencar, Cristina Maria Macêdo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/The aim of this study is to analyze the Responsibility Principle (PR) and the Ethics of Care (EC) as the possibility of a new ethos, where society is thought of in a biocentric way. We find in Deep Ecology the reconciliation of these two ethical theories: responsibility and care, demonstrating the profound consistency existing in the thinking of Hans Jonas and Leonardo Boff. Important philosophical contributions emerge within these categories of analysis, representing the possibility of rethinking the attitude of Man - endowed, based on these assumptions, with a deep awareness of the condition of “being a natural human” and the consequences of his actions (individual and collective) ) in the relationship with Nature. The methodological path taken in this work to achieve the objectives consists of a theoretical research where some basic works of Hans Jonas, Leonardo Boff and Fritz Capra guided the investigation, respectively: “the Responsibility Principle: an ethics test for technological civilization”, “Knowledge Caring: ethics of human-compassion for the land ”and“ The web of life ”. The consultation of articles and other publications by the authors Jonas and Boff helped in the cataloging of their works, making it possible to construct tables 01 (synthesis of Hans Jonas' publications regarding (PR) and 02 (synthesis of Leonardo Boff's publications regarding (EC). The understanding of this investigation has become an important result of the research by relating global environmental events to the productions of these authors. The reflections provoked by this study demonstrated the great importance of Philosophy in the construction of a biocentric society, implying a certain standard of society organization - where the choice is ours: adopt a “good life” based on the ethical principles presented or continue a live full of metabolic failures. The ethical theories of Responsibility and Care can contribute to a new way of acting for men in the face of social and environmental vulnerabilities in contemporary Society.Item Diretrizes do orçamento participativo dos municípios de Porto Alegre/RS, Belo Horizonte/MG e Miguel Calmon/BA: estudo com vistas à viabilidade de sua implementação no município de Madre de Deus/BA(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2020-07-27) Pacheco, Rubens Mário Ribeiro; Flexor, Maria Helena Matue Ochi; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Portella, André Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Carvalho, Silvana Sá de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/The instruments for planning and budgeting government actions and the principles of participatory democracy were included in the Federal Constitution of Brazil in 1988, in the context of the representative political system. These achievements have strengthened the innovative public management experiences that began in the late 1980s, with the Participatory Budget (PB) being a key element for debates, studies and innovations in the process of aggregating popular participation in the guidelines and actions of the local power represented by city halls. The exploratory research aims to develop a participatory budgeting model as a reference to be implemented in the municipality of Madre de Deus / BA. Therefore, normative and organizational analyzes adopted, totally or partially, in the municipalities of Porto Alegre / RS, Belo Horizonte / MG and Miguel Calmon / BA, were used as a support to understand the actions they experienced, creating the possibility of developing indicative parameters for implementation of PB in the municipality of Madre de Deus / BA. The comparative method was used as an approach methodology, through analysis and synthesis, as well as a procedure, using relevant bibliographic review documents, through consultation of the contents of electronic sites and printed bibliography, manuals, reports, and on-site visits. The results obtained revealed the diversity of methods and practices used in a PB Program, as well as the lack of a single model or standard to be followed, although Porto Alegre program has become an international reference in the exportation of practices in participatory management of budget on the local scale. The analysis of the participatory, socioeconomic and financial dimensions, including the administrative structure in the municipality of Madre de Deus / BA, demonstrated the possibility of enabling the adoption of the Participatory Budget, which allows suggesting the initial parameters and implementing the operational cycle through the model proposed.Item Mobilidade urbana em Salvador: integração intermodal e avaliação do serviço na linha 2 do metrô(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2020-08-05) Guerra, Fernando Trioschi Fernandes; Carvalho, Silvana Sá de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Silva, Maina Pirajá; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Delgado, Juan Pedro Moreno; http://lattes.cnpq.br/Urban mobility is a fundamental theme for the development process of Salvador, capital of Bahia, Brazil, a city with an estimated population of 2.9 million inhabitants, according to IBGE, 2019. The transport system in Salvador has as main vectors the road and the subway, considered complementary means of mass transportation and with different functions. The subway operates the structuring routes of Line 1 (which connects Lapa Station to Pirajá Station) and Line 2 (which connects Access North Station to Airport Station). The road system serves the loading and emptying process of the main structuring routes (urban transit routes). This dissertation aims to demonstrate the imbalance in the integration of these two modes of public transportation, focusing on the system on Line 2 of the Metro, in five of the twelve stations existing on this line from the relation travel time from origin to destination, number of departures on the route and expenses with tickets in the use of the modes of transport offered. As a methodology, a review of the concepts found in the literature and publications related to the theme of mobility and urban development was carried out, a survey by Organs regulatory bodies of the mass transportation of Salvador and a field survey with users of the Metro. As main results, we have the level of integration between the modes of transport studied, in addition to the degree of user satisfaction, saturation and idleness of transshipment stations, identification of a standard user of the metro Line 2.Item Educação profissional e inserção social: Colégio Estadual Edvaldo Brandão Correia(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2019) Muniz, Tiago Pereira; Alencar, Cristina Maria Macêdo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Flexor, Maria Helena Matue Ochi; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Almeida, Maria do Socorro da Costa e; http://lattes.cnpq.br/This dissertation, under the title "Professional Education and Social Insertion: Edvaldo Brandão Correia State College, Salvador / BA", aims to understand how - in a public school, a popular neighborhood -, the Professional Technical Education of dynamics of student training for their social insertion. For this, the theme is related to a pedagogical experience, - based on historical-critical pedagogy and having, through Environmental Education, based on ecological economics, working on several areas of knowledge, linked to the selective waste collection in the College in study. The accomplishment of the activity had the involvement and commitment of a group, of the 4th year, of the Technical Course of Administration of Companies Integrated to High School, in this College, located in the district of Cajazeira IV, Salvador / Ba. These students acted as mediators, with the intention of awakening the sensitivity of the subjects, who are part of the school community of the College, regarding the treatment and destination of solid waste, generated by the activities of the School. Several activities and pedagogical practices weredeveloped, aimed at behavior changes regarding the management and destination of waste. The ecological economy, associated with historical-critical pedagogy, bases the interpretation of the results of the engagement of students and teachers, in the process of transforming the environment, contributing to the generation of positive attitudes, for the collective good of the school community. The results showed that, by developing activities that point to more dynamic forms of pedagogical work, - favoring challenging situations of knowledge construction, through the problematization of themes of the student's daily life -, they contribute to the reinventing of young people, leaving the periphery of knowledge production and becoming the center of the process, in their social practices, as subjects of their own history and as a citizen, favoring their social insertion in the condition of young people in formation. practices weredeveloped, aimed at behavior changes regarding the management and destination of waste. In some cases, due to urban and / or environmental damage, the Public Ministry conducts the Terms of Adjustment of Conduct (TAC). In this context, this dissertation aims to evaluate the participation of public and private agents in the process of signing the Terms of Conduct Adjustment (TAC) resulting from the implementation of Shopping Paralela, located at Av. Luis Viana, and its developments related to the right of the city. The methodology of the work, of qualitative character, is based on bibliographic and documentary research (processes and Public Civil Actions) in relation to the TACs of Shopping Paralela, covering analysis of effective compliance, tojudicial implications and developments related to the city. In addition, it covered the realization of semi-structured interviews, with the real estate entrepreneur, responsible for the implementation of the shopping, and with the representative of the Public Ministry of Bahia, in order to better identify the problems that occurred among the managers that resulted in the signing of the TACs. As a result, in the case of Shopping Paralela, even though the requirements of the Conduct Adjustment Term have been partially met, its objectives have not been fully achieved, pointing to a need to seek means to improve the mechanisms that regulate and mediate relationships that use the TAC instrument, in favor of the right to the city.Item A regularização fundiária no Estado da Bahia: uma análise do Projeto Área Legal à luz do direito à cidade(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2020-03-30) Cardozo, Giuliana Vieira de Sá; Delaporte, Maya Constance Manzi; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Mourad, Laila Nazem; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Lima, Adriana Nogueira Vieira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/The neoliberal expansion in search of new financial assets has marked a singular feature in the 21st century. The financialization of housing is included in this new global context of capitalism and is improved through the Respective formal domestic legal systems. In this context, in Brazil, Federal Law No. 13,465 / 2017 - ReUrb Law - tends to considerably reinforce the practice of a public policy model aimed at promoting the desires of the market and housing credit. Inserting itself in this important debate, this thesis seeks to analyze the process of land title regularization in the State of Bahia, especially in the cities that were the target of the “Legal Area” Project - developed by the Bahian Court of Justice. To this end, it adopts the theoretical foundation of the right to the city as an analytical tool, based on the assumption that space is socially produced through continuous tension between different actors. The objective of the present work is to understand how the model of land regularization instituted by Federal Law nº 13.465 / 2017 has been disseminated in the cities of the interior of the State of Bahia, analyzing its potentialities and limitations as an instrument that can contribute (or not) to the guarantees of the social function of property and the realization of the right to the city. The research adopts an interdisciplinary perspective and was developed through documentary analysis, referenced by the consultation of legislative norms, municipal executive decrees and audios of the speeches given at the ReUrb events in cities in the interior of the State published on the website of the Court of Justice of Bahia. The procedure of confronting the speeches given in the events of the “Legal Area” Project with the theoretical framework considered in this work allowed us to dismantle the idea that individual titling necessarily results in the improvement of the socioeconomic conditions of the population reached by regularization. Furthermore, the research revealed that the speeches emanating from public authorities are primarily associated with the economic dimension of the institute, which tend to emphasize the interests of the real estate and financial markets to the detriment of the rights to housing and the city. The results, therefore, demonstrate that the ReUrb Law lacks mechanisms that guarantee the city's social function, and that simple titling without the counterpart of an urbanization process that improves the living conditions of citizens can become an instrument of violation of right to the city.Item Uma releitura dos cortiços no centro antigo de Salvador(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2020-03-09) Primo, Deise Borges de Barros; Mourad, Laila Nazem; http://lattes.cnpq.br/; Jesus, Liliane Vasconcelos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br; Rebouças, Thaís de Miranda; http://lattes.cnpq.brThis work aims to identify and understand the dynamics and conflicts of the tenements in the Old Center of Salvador at different times. We will seek to understand the current conflicts of tenements in the Old Center, the construction of their invisibility and the process of “erasing” the tenement nomenclature in the memory of the population. However, this type of popular housing still persists in memory in another way, its physical existence is linked to less exclusive and stigmatized names. The work proposes a look at the current reality of these dwellings, favoring a reflection on the dynamics and performance of the different public and private agents, which has been producing sectorization, segregation to meet their own interests. The choice of the research object is due to the need to give visibility to the topic of tenements in the city of Salvador, since the subject has been little studied in recent years.Item Circuitos do comércio varejista em bairros populares: Boca do Rio (Salvador/Ba)(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2018-08-24) Martins Júnior, Almir; Carvalho, Silvana Sá de; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4796797E6&tokenCaptchar=03AOLTBLSmzktjpKjJR-F3TE_CH4qbvs2-0W2McGJemiVwz3zuC5dDPCxh1ug8kQng9YV_4E8UnZdGKzQx5nYDdcyqNeJcLVSMNlUzAm9wj2x0LuKZMlI-L_YDpf4JSBTl3eMIwOOUn4a1oVs5dQjdWU2MRWhx6pGWm5suWD45p07v1b-1ylLpo_kOvKZER4LvD6yjZ0HkAHh5gS6w0sa5CEYKORKGLNKWkZyBJnySOAH6nF3qI1i5NwhXmvvvuV3YripjYRCl0RBQrBmMo4b-JroLhnvl81yS-i0ZoWfaBSWLljKQIoWLae587p06tZ6oSJ0aiOciAt5CCstBiFI9-N-hKPm4t0Mmgaw1UWTXJrg4Pp5uYdPVRgnFmXYSeOEPmKqcz19zCYZfhpwGLPGIfmHJusY-bYOiV3SxxqTMg7sdUFgBmtfDBbfhI77432lJApcr4CFZUHASElwtKaZkQukEXNnyShPcK-xX8DjHloAB8CyToNeF3rAB_s814kr6lU0kvU8LemwJEl1UGVyocP9raN7DtLV22gThis study is the search result for the retail trade in the neighborhood of the Boca do Rio, in the city of Salvador/BA from the two circuits of the urban economy, identifying activities that demonstrate this theory, analyzing and verifying the importance the circuits of the urban economy take in organizing the neighborhood as well as pointing out the more prevalent. It seeks to understand this context through a case study, a historical-comparative approach, based on the documentary and iconographic collection collected in the field, with information from the period 2000 to 2018. Although the region presents few opportunities and socioeconomic data show low rates of regional development, artisanal production is the main productive activity and source of income, making possible both an economic evolution and the improvement of the quality of life of the population, although still suffering from the lack of infrastructure and public services. The activity also acts as an agent of regional integration that, through the exchange of knowledge, has enabled the continuity of that cultural expression through the family generations and the neighboring regions, as well as strengthened the process of integrating an extractive production with environmental preservation. In the historical line surveyed is the presence of institutional agents from various categories that, through their actions and projects, has acted with the proposal of local development and environmental preservation. With the questioning about the democratic and productive mobilization of a territory, through its cultural assets being a way of social transformation comes the hypothesis that such assets can support local development and strengthen its territoriality, when used autonomously and contextualized, and articulating with the institutional agents present.Item Paternidade adotiva na concepção de homens em processo de habilitação(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2019-02-26) Barros, Fernando Sérvulo Mota de; Moreira, Lúcia Vaz de Campos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8863706292628331; Barbosa, Camilo de Lelis Colani; Dias, Cristina Maria de Souza BritoThe present master's thesis had as general objective identify the conceptions and expectations of men in empowerment process of adoptive parenthood. For a good understanding a qualitative methodology was used, through a study of multiple cases. There were four married men participants of the Metropolitan Region of Salvador without children. They were accessed in Psychosocial and Legal Preparation Course. For data collection, was developed and used a semistructured interview. The data were analyzed in a descriptive way. The main results were: the participants conceive of adoption as a mutual exchange of love and affection between adopter and adopted. The adoption decision emerged from the couple, even if one of them had wanted it before the other. Adoption candidates interviewed conceive the parent as the person who have responsibility and give care, love and affection for the child, as well as being an example for children, educating / disciplining, stimulating talents, being present in their life and playing with them. Participants classify adoptive parenthood the same as biological fatherhood. It was also verified that the interviewee himself, along with his wife, as well as the interprofessional team, family, friends and colleagues facilitate adoption process. However, family members and interprofessional staff were also mentioned as having hampered the process, the first because they initially resisted the idea of adoption, and the latter because of the time taken to enable the couple to adopt. Finally, it was found in the men's statements that the Psychosocial and Legal Preparation Course for adoption helped them on understanding the legal process and clarifying the profile of minors that were available for adoption, the stage of coexistence, the seriousness of the adoption process and the responsibility of adoptive parents. It was concluded that on the part of men seeking adoption there was a positive expectation regarding adoptive parenting, equating the adoptive father with the biological´s ones.Item No caminho do sabor e da cultura - transmissão geracional de receitas típicas baianas(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2019-03-20) Santana, Anaildes Batista Cruz; Rabinovich, Elaine Pedreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1594550972937138; Costa, Larissa Alves de Sousa; Costa, Lívia Alessandra Fialho daThe present research had as objective to know how the identity culinary Brazilian roots are present in contemporary families of state of Bahia through their generations. For that, a qualitative research was carried out, which used the multiple case study as the access method. It was used as instrument a semi-structured questionnaire with open questions to three families in the cities of Salvador, Mata de São João and Lauro de Freitas. The interviews were carried out in the residences of the respective families with day and time previously scheduled. To analyze the data, the descriptive method was used with distribution of the results in tables and, later, its organization in the form of thematic units, resulting in three themes: Generational transmission of customs, beliefs and values; Commensality, family life and olfactory memories; Recipes and their transformations. It was observed that culinary family heritages were passed differently in each family, out of necessity, affinity or curiosity, and that in all families these gastronomic heritages were maintained. Generally speaking, generation becomes the measure of the change in the economic, social and cultural contexts in which the family members were inserted. The changes were related to the period in which each generation lived or lives, and the experiences were marked by time and by periods with important repercussions for the understanding of issues related to transgenerations. In each family, it was observed daily lives marked with a particular style of "being together", respecting the space of the other and preserving and disseminating the family culture, keeping alive its originality. It was concluded that, even in the present day where the gastronomic diversity and practicality take over the market, the gastronomic heritages of these families contribute to the formation of the new generations, besides being a legacy to the memories of each one of these people. Thus, the cultural roots of our ancestors continue to be present in contemporary families of the State of Bahia, and even with changes of habits and customs in the face of globalization and current technologies, the need to share knowledge and preserve their origins emerged as essential for the identity of these families.Item Família e comunidade como apoio às pessoas no enfrentamento da paraparesia espástica tropical(Universidade Católica do Salvador, 2018-12-07) Benevides, Amine Lopes; Sá, Kátia Nunes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4313045041004715; Macêdo, Maíra Carvalho; Sá, Sumaia Midlej PimentelThe objetive of the present research is to identify the strategies used by people who suffer with HTLV-1 Associated Myelopathy or Tropical Spastic Paraparesis (HAM/TSP), a progressive and neurodegenerative condition which takes to the need of help for walking or wheel chairs, for facing the problems consequents to this life condition.
